Health Care In This Country

I would like to share a personal story about HEALTH CARE in this Country.  I’m not trying to make your decisions, I am however, trying to understand the stupidity of Doctors who use scare tactics if you don’t have Health Care.  I’m not happy over the fact that I am a widow raising to 2 teenage children on my own.  My husband, who was the main bread winner, died leaving me his debt that I am obligated to pay.  I was given no choice.  I applied for health insurance after his health coverage cancelled the policy because of his death.  I applied with a Health Insurance Company, but my children and I were denied because I take thyroid medication and my children’s doctor would not release their medical history because they were minors.  I was never given the option of allowing their medical files to be released.  It’s hard to know what to do when you are confronted with a situation you have never had to handle.  I’ve grown up since then and the stress I went through with my husband’s death that took a while to get over.

In that while of growing up I kept hearing my Great Grandfather telling me as a child to “pay attention to your surroundings”.    What I found in my surroundings was arrogant self serving people who only cared about how much they used you and made in dollar signs, off of you.

3 years and 9 months ago on New Year’s day my daughter was called by a neighbor to come and babysit their 9 year old daughter.  The father of the child was playing golf and afterwards drinking at the “Counry Club”.  The mother left her child home alone while she went to the bar.  The girls were watching T.V. when the father came home and told them to go outside and play on the trampoline. What do kids do when they are told by adults to do something, they usually do it.  My daughter broke both of her lower leg bones in half.  The father had left, didn’t tell the girls and when his daughter called him he refused to come home.

My daughter laid on a trampoline for 30 minutes in pain because the father didn’t believe it actually happened when his daughter called him.  My daughter finally called me and I showed up before the father who was closer to the house than I was.  $34,ooo.00 in medical bills and a lawsuit that has taken 3 years and 9 months to settle and I lost my job staying home to take care of her for 6 weeks because there was no one else to do it. My daughter couldn’t even get to the bathroom by herself.  I was denied State benefits to cover her medical bills because I had a retirement account left to me by my husband.

I was unemployed because the economy fell and jobs were suddenly hard to come by in the state of Arizona.

Fast forward to this year in June.  My 16 year old son, an honor student, was complaining of pain in his rib cage and chest area.  His doctor requested I send him to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.  He was in the hospital 6 hours on an EKG machine.  Three doctors said all he had was inflammation in his rib cage.  He was given Ibuprofen and was fine, until the Cardiologist’s office called to do another EKG.  My sons entire hospital bill was $1300.00 for 6 hours, the Cardiologist charge me $847.00 for one EKG and my son was in that room with a nurse practitioner for 10 minutes.  Several days went by before that office called and wanted to do a stress test I refused because of their prices and the nurse practitioner told me on the phone he was extremely ill and could drop dead at any moment and I would be responsible. I didn’t believe her so she had the Cardiologist call me to tell me the same thing over the phone. They gave gave him an echo gram instead and did not charge me.  They waited a week to give me the result that showed nothing.  So they re-asked for the for a tread mill test at no charge, however the bill came later, over 800.00 dollars.  Then they wanted to do an MRI for $10,ooo.oo that had to be paid up front. He didn’t get the test.

Every test my son had he was told NOT to EAT before that test.  The nurse practitioner showed me a comparison to the hospital tests and told me he was extremely ill.

I’m not that stupid, I got a second opinion by 2 doctors.  I was told to make sure he had food on his stomach before the EKG.  In the end the only thing wrong with him was he drank to much water that flushed all of his electrolytes out of his  body. He was told to drink Gator Aid and he has been fine every since then.  His EKG’s have been normal since.

My point to this blog, for those of you who want to call Government Health Care Socialized Medicine I really could care less, you can call it whatever you want.  I have dual citizenship with Ireland, however, when I was living in England I fell and broke my ankle.  I was taken to the hospital, a cast was put on and I didn’t pay a dime of money I didn’t have.  There are millions of citizens in this Country who can’t afford Health Insurance and just can’t get it because of a “pre-existing condition”.

By the way, my son was also denied State Health Care because I receive Social Security Death Benefits that the State of Arizona claims to be more than enough that is suppose to go to health insurance and a college fund.  Obviously, they haven’t checked the price of food, gas or the job market in Arizona lately and I am State Licensed in my profession.  I’m lucky to work 3 days a month.

It’s really sad that political promises  by State Officials are nothing more than promises and a bag full of lies. Be very careful of who you vote for in your State next year.

Buyers Beware of Insurance Companies

There are thousands of people in this Country that judge what they see in T.V. commercials to be the truth to save money on a to good to be true scheme.  At least one Insurance Company that pays millions of dollars in commercial advertising that is the biggest rip off company that you could choose.  If you are watching commercials from Progressive , who offers a multitude of Insurance BEWARE that what you hear in these commercial in not fact based. Progressive uses AUTO OWNERS INSURANCE who actually thinks every accident is YOUR fault and you need to pay for it out of your pocket.

Should you complain about their system and why they haven’t contacted you they will defiantly give you the run around until you get so frustrated you have to file a lawsuit. However, don’t expect that lawsuit to end anytime soon because they will to anything, at all costs, to avoid making a decision.

Unfortunately when my husband died I could no longer afford medical insurance.  My next door neighbor’s father was wealthy and owned a business that was given to her oldest sister. Her sister has a daughter who it a trained gymnast, who has a trampoline.  My daughter was called on New Years Day to come and babysit her 9 year old.  The mother went out drinking with her friends and the father was playing golf.  Since my daughter had taken classes with the American Red Cross and had baby-sat many times before, without any incident, I really didn’t think it was much of a problem.  My concern was a 9 year old child that was left alone, when her parents obviously thought she was unable to stay by herself after they left her alone by herself.    I took my daughter to the house.  The little girl was watching T.V. so my daughter sat down with her.  Several minutes later the father came home and told the girls to “go outside and play on the trampoline”.

When children are told by a male authority figure to go do something, they usually, don’t question the command.  The girls did exactly what they were told.  Unfortunately, the trampoline was broken and the parents knew it. My daughter broke her 2 lower leg bones in half and had to have surgery and titanium rods put in her leg. The child that lived in the house ran inside to get her father, but he had left without telling them.   The child of the house found a cell phone and called her dad.  He was at the drug store buying alcohol and snacks and told my daughter her leg wasn’t broken and to shake it off and walk it off.  After 45 minutes and 3 phones to the father he told my daughter to call her mom.  I got there before the father.  He assured me her medical bills would be covered by there insurance.

Go figure wealthy people with cheap a insurance company that don’t pay on accidents. My daughters medical bills were over $30,000.00.  I was denied State insurance because I had a retirement account that I refused to “give away”.

I filed a lawsuit and it’s been over 2 1/2 years and they refuse to even acknowledge my attorney’s final offer before going to trial.

I am just forewarning you before you make a mistake of using “AUTO OWNERS INSURANCE COMPANY”.  Find a reputable Insurance Company.

The Arrogance of this Country

Since when do the elected officials of this Country try to take away our God given right to make our choices, pertaining to our personnel experiences we came here to work out, all on our own, as they arrogantly assume control of it’s citizens decisions.  When are they going to wake up and realize that this Country is not about them, it’s about WE THE PEOPLE!   These politicians have gone to great lengths to NOT Provide American Citizens with HEALTH CARE!

Think about it!!!!  How many of you are struggling financially?  How many of you have had their Credit Reports ruined because you lost your job and have to wait up to 7 years before it’s no longer on your credit report and can’t get anything done in your favor?  How many of you have had homes that suffered foreclosure and you are not living in the style you had?  How many of you live in a State where your State Government really doesn’t care, because they believe it’s your fault for not being the Almighty Rich Citizen?   Did we all really come here to be rich or do we come here for our personal goals we need to accomplish on our own?

Are you aware that Companies out there are not hiring people, who pay taxes, because they might have a drink or two or smoke. Companies aren’t hiring disabled people because they only want to hire healthy strong workers.  They aren’t hiring older workers because they feel they can’t produce enough.  WHAT HAPPENS TO AMERICA WHEN MOST OF THE PEOPLE ARE OUT OF WORK AND NO TAXES ARE BEING PAID?

Is dictating to me from another Human this Countries course of action to be our NEW WAY to life?  THAT’S NOT FREEDOM OF CHOICE!

If the Arrogance and Control is to be our new way of life, the FEDERAL Government and Corporations have serious issues.

As long as we still have FREEDOM OF SPEECH everyone needs to express their opinion against the CONTROL of our lives.  SLAUGHTERING THE CONSTITUTION IS A CRIME BEYOND REPROACH.

It’s not even funny to me that Google and their buy out of Yahoo are arrogantly trying to control what’s on the internet.

Let it RIP VERBALLY before you no longer have FREEDOM OF SPEECH and CHOICES TO MAKE IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!

NEXT YEAR IN 2010 VOTE AGAINST THE PEOPLE RE-RUNNING  AND KNOW YOUR POLITICIANS VIEWS BEFORE YOU VOTE.

WEREN’T MOST OF THE LAST BABY BOOMERS RAISED WITH FREEDOM OF CHOICE?  WHAT’S HAPPENING TO THIS COUNTRY??????

STUDY YOUR POLITICIANS BEFORE YOU VOTE AND IF THEY ARE AGAINST THE PEOPLE ‘S RIGHTS, VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE.

Should All Illegal Drugs Be Legalized

If I didn’t live in Arizona and my late husband didn’t die because of the stupidity of himself and the arrogance of the drug runners from Mexico, I probably wouldn’t be so irate over  some of the Dumb-Asses in this Country pushing to legalize ALL illegal drugs.  Are these people really that ignorant to think no one is going to buy them just because they are legal?  There are 900,000 thousand teenagers selling drugs in this Country.  Are all of YOU parents really that stupid  that you just don’t have the time or even care to monitor what your own children are doing?  You brought them into this world and it is your legal right and job to know everything they are doing and the type of  people they are hanging out with.  Of course, kids never like parents telling them what to do, but how much to you really know what these drugs do to the body and the brain of a human being?

My kids saw what crystal meth did to their father. He became mentally ill from the drug and ended his life by hanging himself, but not before he tried to kill us well over 6 times.  They live with it everyday of their life, since he committed suicide, knowing what they went through with him .  They saw and experienced things kids should never have to deal with in a lifetime. Unfortunately,  The Arizona Courts were not sympathetic and made me beg for two Orders of Protection for my kids and myself.  It was worth it, my son is an honor student and my daughter, well, she is still a bubble head, but she stays away from all kids that have anything to do with drugs, stealing and lying just to cover themselves.

I know who my kids friends are because I have that right as a parent to know everything they are doing.

Personally, I really believe that we should have our own military controlling the American side of the border, but if you don’t live in a border state, you really couldn’t possibly understand the magnitude of the problem.  We are the highest ranked State in kid napping and illegal drug use.   It becomes just another News story that people just don’t want to hear about because it’s easier not take back control of what is going on around you.  Grow up because it will never get better until you stand up and fight for your rights as an American.  It not just the border states being affected, it has become the problem of an entire Country.

What Does Laughing Have To Do With Anything

There aren’t many people in this Country that find anything amusing these days.  Many people who were once middle to upper middle class are unemployed, have lost or are losing their homes and can’t feed their children.  Take heart it’s not just this Country suffering lack of jobs and loss of property.  My cousin is going through pretty much the same thing in England right now.

My father used to say no mater how bad things get, it could be worse.  He was right with that statement and I am going to tell you why.   There is a neighbor that lives down the street and around the corner from me.  He lost his job and medical insurance because he couldn’t afford to pay the medical insurance premiums through Cobra.  His wife worked, but their main income was gone.  They lived off of their savings and credit cards, trying to hang on until things got better, but it only got worse.  Eight weeks ago he had an electrical short in the wiring in his attic and it caught fire to his house. He got his family out and the fire department was called by a neighbor.

This man was so stressed over everything going on a few days later he suffered a heart attack and the paramedics had to be called.  He was unconscious and they had to shock him to resuscitate him.  He woke up in the hospital the next day.  His wife visited him everyday and on the 5th day of his hospital stay, when he was feeling somewhat better, she reminded him that they were now over $200,000.00 in debt with no medical insurance and he was unemployed. His wife told me a few days ago, when I bumped into her at the store, that after she reminded him of how bad their finances were he started to laugh until he was hysterically laughing.  His wife thought he had literally lost his mind and buzzed for the nurse, who got the staff doctor in to see him immediately because he couldn’t wouldn’t stop laughing hysterically.

Take “Heart”  the doctor told him the more laughing and physical exercise you do the more anxiety you release and the stress starts to subside helping you to focus better on new opportunities.  He also suggested a pet, to which, if you really love your pet, they help to absorb negative energy from the humans they love, which is why when you get depressed or agitated your pet seems to either sympathize or pull your attitude and you don’t know why.

Yesterday, my neighbor, his wife and their new puppy were walking down the street in front of my house.  Their homeowners insurance company still has not settled on fixing their roof and that have plastic sheets covering the wholes.  My next door neighbor was in her front yard that is fenced talking to my daughter that was in her yard.  My daughter had on backless shoes and she got so excited to see this puppy she went to step back and caught her shoe on the driveway and fell flat on her butt.   Ya just couldn’t help but laugh hysterically.   (all she ended up with was bruised ego and highly embarrassed)

By the way, my neighbor’s family and friends have financially help them reduce their debt, but they are still struggling, as so many people are.  Take a stress break and laugh.

So……. what tickles your funny bone?

Where’s the Motivation

This Country is getting a new President in one week and how many people are going to blame him for all the last President’s stupidity and lack of care for the people in this Country?  Not to mention all the campaign promises that the New President promised and won’t be able to deliver because of this current administration.  We are all human and every one of us makes mistakes, but the mistakes Bush made takes an all time precedence as a President of the most Powerful Country in the World, in having down right greedy, self serving people around him feeding his own ego of arrogance and incompetence.  If you really thought about it, it could make you sick to know what this Country has done to it’s very own citizens.

The wealthy complain that in 2010 their tax breaks expire and they will have to pay higher taxes, the poor just don’t have much or any to pay, as many of them do work for cash only, most of them get State benefits.  Unfortunately, unless you understand the working of State Government, telling the truth will get you absolutely turned down for help.  Their motto, what you lied about we won’t ask about”.

Ahhh! then there is the middle class.  What happens now that so many middle class Americans have lost their jobs, homes, vehicles and can’t buy food for their children, let alone support the Government.  So what about the middle class children?, to the arrogant adults they are inconsequential because they are not making money and paying taxes, unfortunately for them, those children are our future and their opportunities are vanishing.  Many of those children will never be able to go to College.    On the other hand many States have limited children from going to College just because of standardized testing that teachers just failed to teach in elementary education, and the lack of student loans these days. Yet Government blames the mass majority of students for not applying themselves.  I think that falls under “blame the children not the adults teaching them act.”

Selfishness, Greed and Stupidity has brought this Country to their knees.  Stand Up for Heaven Sake and take back what you have worked your whole life to accomplish.  This Country was founded off  ”WE THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE” NOT “WE THE GOVERNMENT”.

How Many People Live in the United States?

How Many People Live in the United States? It seems to be the question of this New Century. Our own Government won’t give an exact figure because they don’t care to check with the IRS and Social Security.

How many of those citizens are legal?   You know, those non citizens, that are collecting benefits from States who just don’t give a rats ass about checking their background.

Lets narrow this down.  The amount of illegals living here is roughly 20 to 37 million. Some of these people aren’t paying taxes yet getting food stamps, medical benefits, and their children are allowed to attend public school, in which, many classes are taught in bi-lingual (English-Spanish) languages. This language barrier does create problems for American born children, who speak English, that loose focus on the class while waiting for the illegals to get their class in Spanish.  I have 2 children that have put up with this in public school.  The Government wants these American Kids to be our future Presidents?

Another question arises.  How many French, German, Bosnian, Chinese and a multitude of other nations, who have their children in public schools, in this Country that get their teachings in their languages.  Maybe the French Quarter in New Orleans or the Chinese in San Francisco.

The point is, this Country, speaks American English. Not British English, not Spanish or Spanglish, not French or Chinese.

Another problem has now arisen in this Country.  The Federal Government wants to pay out 700 billion dollars to bail out the Financial Institutions.  700 BILLION DOLLARS, yet there is roughly 296 million People to 320 million people who live here.  Would it not make more sense to give everyone who legally lives here some of that money to spend to stimulate the economy, pay their debt, buy food, get medical insurance, pay for gas and have a home to live in?  You know the now low life American Citizens who actually support this Country.  Even if they just paid the American Born adults who file taxes half that amount this Country would be better off stimulating our very own Economy than the Jackasses in Washington who allow plenty of Special Interest Money that serves no purpose to the majority of the American People.

AMERICANS, we are the ones paying this BAILOUT.  The money in this Country comes out of your pocket.  The Government doesn’t doesn’t have money, the Middle Class supports this Country.

How many of you have had their phone lines tapped?  I have, because I speak my mind.  I always thought, before this incident, that I was entitled to FREEDOM OF SPEECH.  Stupid me for not giving my attention to something I took for granted.

WE THE PEOPLE CAN’T SAVE OURSELVES UNTIL WE SAVE OUR GOVERNMENT, which is pretty sad that the Doctrine we now live under has taken away our FREEDOM as citizens.

It’s time to take a stand as Americans, whose benefits, benefit the illegal aliens.  I realize this Country is made up of Immigrants, but our families of the past became Citizens through proper Channels.  Amnesty of illegal aliens isn’t going to fix the problem.  It didn’t in the past and it won’t work now to save the Asses for our very own Government.

Unfortunately, we have now become the questionable laughing stock of the World.

IT’S TIME TO VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE AND BAN LOBBYISTS.

Where do your Animals Rate in Your Own Life?

To the lot of you that have pets roaming your household, you are animal lovers.  I am no different than other animal lover people, however, when you have a 14 year old child who thinks we should own every animal on the planet, it can get a little pricey in a bad economy.  What those children don’t understand, when those pets we love so much get sick it can cost as much as a human that gets sick who doesn’t have medical insurance.  There are States that have pet insurance, but sometimes it cost more than Human Insurance.  If you can’t afford Human Insurance, then you definitely can’t afford Pet Insurance.

I’m not blaming this all on my daughter, I am just as guilty as she is, allowing myself to bring in rescue animals.  Every single animal I now have has been rescued, except for one 17 year old cat that my veterinarian gave me as a wedding gift. How can you say no to a wedding gift gracefully, even though I tried with 3 other cats I already had?  That doesn’t mention the 3 parakeets that other people caught and didn’t know what to do with, but singled me out, when they didn’t know anything about birds.  I didn’t see bird specialist written on me anywhere, but I learned fast about birds.

What I have left is 2 tiger cat sisters that my kids and a neighbor child, that broke into an abandon house and rescued, without asking an adult prior to their burglary. (NO charges were pressed)   I hate when they don’t consult a parent and just do what they want. However, the kittens they brought home are good kitties, though, each of them looks like one of my children and they bonded with the one they look like.

Through all of this, my daughter has brought home, hamsters, rats, and a guinea pig.  I will leave the 20 gallon fish tank out of this, that is now empty, that she left me to take care of for 4 years. It’s up for sale at the moment.

As the story goes I ended up rescuing a 4 month old Ridgeback dog, which the owner insisted I take her Pit Bull Puppy as well.  Not knowing the background of the Pit Bull and having young children I just had to refuse. I had a next door neighbor’s Pit Bull attack another neighbors German Shepherd in my front yard. The Pit Bull tried to jump my fence as puppy when my very young children were in the backyard playing.

However, my new Ridgeback, that I was told by a Vet, was a German Shepherd mix, which wasn’t anything other than a full blooded Ridgeback after a thorough investigation with an expert. She’s an awesome dog. She has had her moments potty training as a puppy (I have tile floors, which didn’t bother me at all, but I put in a doggy door that took her less than day to use) with her wanting dominance over her family.  That doesn’t even mention her health problems she has had.  I think it’s those health problems from a pure bred dog that gets to me the most.

Right after her first birthday the protective Ridgeback, of her children, was barking at someone walking down the alley. That person in the alley threw a piece of wood, that had a nail in it, into my backyard. Unfortunately my dog stepped on that nail cutting her foot while she trying to protect her property and “her family” which caused her to get tetanus.  She lost the muscles in her head, but was put on meds and recovered.  Everything was fine, until my cousin, who worked for the Humane Society called to tell me they were putting 2 six week old  puppies down because they were over crowded and had no place for them.  I was irate over it.  I wanted to take both of them, but the Humane Society wouldn’t let me, so I had a verbal out loud tantrum, which prompted a man, who is now my friend, to take the other puppy.  They were both males and had been neglected, fed with scrapes of food from the table and had other health issues I had to pay for meds to fix on the one I took.

The people who originally owned them turned them lose on a busy street at six weeks old. A woman almost hit both of them in her car. She stopped her car and ended up taking them to the Humane Society, that was already over-crowded. Those puppies are now 2 years old and healthy and happy with their owners.  They have become family members.

The point of this post is to make others aware of the fact that taking on any animal can and will cost you money that you don’t have, those animals become your children, while you have them.  They need love and give love, they need affection and give affection, they also need to be financially supported, just like Human Children, because they are also your children.

If you have to leave your home because of weather, don’t leave your animals behind. You are their best friend and only family.

I’ve been through trials with everyone of my animals.  I am thankful that my teenagers take on the responsibility of covering for me when I’m not home.

If you love your animals as you would your own children, then you need to beware of underground rodents that dig up your property.  Those rodents carry bacteria and other diseases, that should your pet try to kill or kill can do more harm to them than you can imagine.

My 4 year old Ridgeback, protector of her family, could no longer stand the gofers digging in her backyard so she dug the gofer out of the ground and killed it, then left it in my daughters room as a gift. My bubble-headed daughter didn’t get it. Unfortunately my Ridgeback got a bacteria and has been on 5 medicines for the last 3 months.  It’s just as hard to see your pet suffer as you would your own child, if you really love your animals.

It’s also hard to make your other animals understand, especially another canine who thinks of the older one as a parent.

My Ridgeback is better, but not fully recovered, as of yet.

If you love your animals as much as you love your own kids please watch them and protect them as if they are your children.  They are actually smarter than your kids.  Humans need to pay more attention to with what is going on around them, their children, and their animals.

If you don’t love your animals as you would your own kids then you don’t need to have animals.

Americans vs Politicians

I rarely publish e-mails, but since everyone is up in arms over this Presidential Election I figured you needed food for thought, as the majority struggle and people just can’t think REALLY BIG these days after living under George Bushes Government for the last 8 years.

This came to me from a friend of mine in the News Media.

“How many zeros in a billion?

The next time you hear a politician use the
word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about
whether you want the ‘politicians’ spending
YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
but one advertising agency did a good job of
putting that figure into some perspective in
one of it’s releases.

A.

A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

B.

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

C.

A billion hours ago our ancestors were
living in the Stone Age.

D.

A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.

E.

A billion dollars ago was only

8 hours and 20 minutes,

at the rate our government

is spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain…

let’s take a look at New Orleans …

It’s amazing what you can learn with some simple division.

Louisiana Senator,

Mary Landrieu (D)

is presently asking Congress for

250 BILLION DOLLARS

to rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number…

what does it mean?

A.

Well… if you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans

(every man, woman, and child)

you each get $516,528.

B.

Or… if you have one of the 188,251 homes in
New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787.

C.

Or… if you are a family of four…

your family gets $2,066,012.

Washington, D. C

Are all your calculators broken??

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago…
and our nation was the most prosperous in the world.

We had absolutely no national debt…

We had the largest middle class in the world…

and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What happened?

Can you spell ‘politicians!’

And I still have to

Stonehenge Uncovered

The last time I visited Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plain in England, Archeologists had “petitioned” the Government to study Stonehenge. Of course, there is always fight and it took a long time for the Government to agree to terms on allowing it to happen.

Finally, for those of you who have waited, it has been done and there is now a program on the National Geographic Channel called “Stonehenge Decoded”.

For those of you who can’t get the National Geographic Channel and are interested, Archeoligists were finally allowed to excavate the surrounding area to try to understand why Stonehenge was actually built. At this point they can’t pinpoint a time frame on how long it actually took to complete the movement of the Sarsen Stones from 25 miles away and put them in place or the exact tribes of that region in that beginning time frame Stonehenge was being built, however, they have concluded that the ancient tribes in that area built Stonehenge, not as monument, but for a ritual act of viewing the Summer and Winter Solstice. Those Tribes were Engineers.

There was more than one “Henge”, other than Stonehenge completed in that area. The Sarsen Stones that exist today were to view the Summer Solstice, however, the other “Henge” was built out of wood a few miles away that was used to view the Winter Solstice.

The difference in the two different materials used were on done purpose. The “Henges” were built for a Spiritual Ritual not only to honor life, but death as well. There were homes (a community) of those that traveled to live in that area during the two Solstice Events and many feasts accured leaving many bones and few personal treasures behind.

They did discover that an unknown tribe (possibly Egyptian) ventured upon them teaching them how to melt metals and make a casting in a stone to create adornments and arrow heads. They also found an ancient body with wounds from arrows.

The wooden Henge was built to represent human life. A life that gets old and finally dies. It viewed the Winter Solstice, as the harsh winter bringing life to a death or a dormant condition, which was a belief of many other tribes across Europe. Stonehenge was built to honor the dead and their strength of life after death.

There is much similarity in their ancient belief as there is today. It also gave a new meaning to the practice of the American Indians of the past, also speculated to have ties with the ancient Egyptians.

If your interested in ancient History and Stonehenge, it is definitely a program you don’t want to miss.

Global Warming and Energy

I wrote this post a couple of months ago for Psychic Reader Lucky7Star when he wanted me to do a piece on Global Warming for his Psychic News Companion Blog on WordPress. I have had quite a few people ask me to post it here as they would like to leave comments, but are not WordPress or Yahoo subscribers (Posted on my yahoo blog), who might have to be logged in to leave a comment.

This is a critical issue for not just the survival of Arctic Animals, but the survival of plants , that supplies some of your crucial medicine, and trees that clean your air, not to leave out the the food chain, and humans. Everything is balanced by each other and here for a reason. We have no place to go when the Earth’s Ice melts and the lands become extinct.

Is tearing down the Rainforest and the incompetence of the Oil Companies worth the loss of Our Planet?

When the Pope acknowledges aliens, something is definitely amiss with Our Societies and Industrial Age we humans just don’t want to seem to let go of just yet.

‘Psychic Readings
Here is an interesting piece by one of the guest writers from Doctor Buzzard’s Medicine Show… A Psychic Reading within a reading.

The Celtic Princess © April 13th, 2008  (Updated 2009 from original posting)

As we watch the Polar Ice Caps melt and the sea levels rising, we continue to read articles and listen to the news about Global Warming and somehow think it isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be and we humans are not really responsible, because it’s just the News Media, who makes everything out to be worse than it really is. Unfortunately, the News Media DOES NOT make it DRAMATIC Enough. If they would spend more time on the disastrous effects Global Warming is having on this planet Right this Minute, and a whole lot less time babbling, speculating and bantering on the candidates running for President in United States, things could change. Fortunately the News Media has the power to influence the masses of people on this planet, unfortunately they have become nothing more than a self interest group making and breaking people across this Planet as they deem fit.

This Planet has given us all we need to make it function properly. There is an abundance of Energy on this planet and throughout the Universe that spins in Cycles. History and technology have proven these spinning cycles throughout the Universe and on this planet itself, yet we seem to be ignoring the fact that our ice caps are breaking up and as they melt and move through the seas, water will begin to rise along coastal lines across the planet. Seers such as Edgar Cayce warned this planet of the rising waters back in 1941. It wasn’t taken seriously by any Government on this planet back then, yet we are now seeing the effect of melting ice caps and rising water.

Have you ever wondered why the Universes are round, our solar system is round, our planets are round and rainbows are arced (rounded). We would not have cloth today with out the spinning windmill that converted raw fiber into cloth. All of these things spin and are created out of the pull of electro-magnetic energy. Ancient tribes built monuments immolating the importance of this figure and the energy it creates.  Stonehenge is major example of ancient people’s knowledge of how important this round shape really is to our energy on this planet itself.

Is it to late to change this progression of Global Warming on Earth, possibly, however, “WE”, all people on this planet can slow it down by reducing green house gas and implementing solar, wind, and water (in a Hydrogen mixture) that creates ionization producing water vapor instead of carbon monoxide. Planting shrubs, grass and trees helps to eliminate a lot of carbon monoxide from our air. At least we can prolong and possibly prevent millions of lives and lands of being lost as water levels begin to rise in magnitude portions flooding much of the Earth.

In the mean time, it’s time the News Media takes some responsibility on helping to educate the masses across the planet, without bias, the leaders in every Country need to take heed in helping reduce the affects of Global Warming.’

The Industrial Age is ending and slowly, the New Age of GREEN will take over if we all do our part.  Get involved to save your Planet.  It’s the only place you have to live.

Wheels within Wheels

The mystery of North and South polarities.

There is a Universal harmony that extends out through time and space and conceals it’s mystery’s within our planet and each one of us on this planet. We are so synchronized within the perfection that most of us loose sight of our direction and just live day by day. My 73 year old aunt told me that she thought and thought about the meaning and reason of her life on this planet and couldn’t come up with one thing as to why she is here. The sad part is she was raised all her life with spiritualism, but has never applied it to herself or her life. It’s time to change the thought process within the world of the magnetic energy we live. Those that have lived in a daily routine of home and work are truly missing out on the mysteries and codes of their own life and its purpose.

One of the most fascinating mysteries is that of the North and South. The Northern Hemisphere has a stronger polarity (magnetic energy) than the Southern Hemisphere and work in opposite directions. Water, hurricanes and tornado’s spin in a clockwise motion in the Northern Hemisphere and a counter-clockwise motion the Southern Hemisphere. Astrologers correctly chart planets in a counter clockwise movement while the Ages move clockwise. There is a description in the Bible as Wheels within Wheels, allowing those to understand a concept of forward and reversed movement in our life. Most of us are taught these movements of the Hemisphere’s in school, but what we aren’t taught is that Universal Law, that the North will, has and does predominant over the South. When the North and the South are in opposition the North will always win or there will be a draw and no one wins. Consider the War between the States. The South lost that war that was doomed from the beginning, since our Capital was North of the conflict. Consider the thousands of Americans that died in South Korea and South Vietnam in a no win situation that was doomed from the beginning. Iraq is also north of our Capital, so it may not be a win win situation on the part of the U.S, but it will be a draw where both Countries agree to terms and the situation will neutralize.

However, if you live in the Southern Hemisphere and are in conflict with the Northern part of the Southern Hemisphere the Southern portion will win or it will end in a draw where no one wins. The closer you are to the magnetic Poles the more power you have over your opponent. If there is opposition between the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere the Northern Hemisphere will win, as it has a stronger magnetic energy.

Personally, my house faces North and South and when my teenagers get into an argument it is usually in one of their bedrooms or the hallway that faces North. For me to resolve the argument I have to call them into the living room South of their bedroom’s and stand North of them for the discussion or it will become out of control and becomes a no win settlement where everyone is mad.

The next time you have to confront someone make sure you know which way is North and try standing North of your opponent and see what happens. You just may be surprised.

If anyone has viewed the amazing photo’s from Nasa’s Space Gallery of Deep Space Galaxies, you will notice that Spiral Galaxies spin both clockwise and counterclockwise. There is also an interesting aspect when you view their Nebula pictures. Many of the Nebula formations look very similar to Angels with Wings, Human Faces, Wizards, Dragons, Devils and Evil Spirits. It kind of gives perspective to the Bible term “As Above, So Below.” As we view anything in space as above us. Oddly, the Ancient Celtic people built structures, like Stonehenge.  Many other tribes built structures to view more than the Solstice’s in the sky, thousands of years ago, as well as the Egyptians, Inca’s and others on this planet. It kind of makes you wonder about the ancient cave drawings of UFO’s, Space Beings, Sun’s, Planet’s, and our modern day speculation and sightings of UFO’s, as well as many monoliths that are standing across the planet Earth today. It does not even begin to cover the Major Religions and their God’s and or Goddess’s.  Are we alone in this Universe?  Think about it, but put your prejudice aside, because it isn’t a debate of right or wrong or even religious. It’s more of a possibility vs impossibility.

Manifesting

Here is a different way of learning Manifesting things that seems to be simple in the mind of an elderly woman, which is my almost 80 year old mother. This is how my mother has worked manifesting, unknowingly or accepting to her, since my father died over 4 1/2 years ago. Almost three years ago on December 31st, my mother came over to my house to eat and watch a movie. My Ridge-back dog was a puppy then, but still big. She loves company she knew and when I opened the door to let my mother in that dog pushed past me and jumped on her, knocking her down before I could stop her.

It took my mother several months after that to manifest the fear of falling. My mother wasn’t hurt in the fall, but she has spent her entire life being afraid of everything.Three months after her first fall, she calls me in a panic because she was standing at the counter in her kitchen, lost her balance for no reason and just fell to the floor and couldn’t get up. However, she has claimed all along she didn’t know how to use her cell phone, but conveniently had it positioned on the counter to where she could reach it, just so she could call me. I had to go over and pick her up off the floor and I do have a lower back injury that I try to ignore as much as possible. Funny she knew my son wasn’t home at the time.

I went out and bought my mother a cane, but she refused to use it. I offered to move in with her, but she wanted me to give my children and my personal belongings away. She hates children and didn’t want them in her house, which is why she didn’t raise her own children and she didn’t want anything I owned in her house. With her falling experience she had all these doctors run all these tests only to tell her it was all in her head and she needed to use her cane whether she liked it or not if she wanted to believe she had no balance. It’s a pretty purple cane with pink flowers, and when she started taking it to work, because the Doctor said so, she was so happy with all the attention she got over it.

Well, her way of manifesting things gets better. I have been extremely busy as of late. My oldest brother and his youngest son have been trying to help fill in the gap by doing all this work at her house, but it hasn’t been to her satisfaction, because “they won’t cook her meals”. They both have MS and my oldest brother’s is Progressive. They will go get her food, but she doesn’t want that and she doesn’t want me putting in long hours at work. Soooo, she decides to sit in her house, by herself, and take her blood pressure every 10 minutes. She finally got it up to stroke level, so she could call me and tell me she was having a stroke or heart attack and I needed to rush to her before she died. She lives a half of a mile down the street from me. Of course she had just seen the heart doctor and he told her she was fine.

I rush over there and call the paramedics who come and monitor her heart and blood pressure and they tell her she is having an anxiety attack, which is what I said to her before they showed up, but I’m stupid. I leave my son to stay with her the night, because I had to work in the morning, but she got up at 3:30 in the morning and yelled at him for having a light on in her den. I had to go get him because she wouldn’t quit screaming at him over a light. Then she wanted to know the next day why I picked him up and left her alone to die. (eye rolling)

Of course, she didn’t want me doing anything with my children over Labor Day weekend, so she had my brother take her to the hospital, because in her mind she was dying over her blood pressure. All her tests found was, anxiety, which led me to reprimand her in front of her Doctor and he agreed with me. The doctor told her he was going to her house and throw her blood pressure machine away that made her mad. The outcome of my visit to the hospital was my mother telling my daughter she needed to have her house vacuumed and dusted before she came home in the morning. She’s going to be really disappointed that it didn’t happen. See how that works. You just cannot demand of others, what you, yourself, are just not willing to do for you or anyone else.

THE MOON AND MARS

YOU GOTTA KNOW I LOVE TO MAKE CORRECTIONS;)

Mars and Earth Converge
By Robert Roy Britt
Senior Science Writer

By the time you finish reading this sentence, you’ll be about 25 miles closer to Mars, according to NASA calculations.

Earth and Mars are converging, setting up a great skywatching opportunity for later this year.

Here’s what’s going on: Earth has the inside track as the two worlds orbit the sun. Inner planets orbit more quickly than outer planets because of the laws of gravity. Earth requires 365 days to go around the sun once, whereas a year on Mars is 687 Earth-days.

So every 26 months, Earth passes Mars on this orbital trek.

When the pass occurs, Earth and Mars are on the same side of the sun, as seen from above, with all three objects lined up in a row, and astronomers say Mars is at opposition.

As our planet catches the red planet, the distance between them shrinks dramatically. (It’s an opportune time for sending missions to Mars, such as the recently launched Phoenix Lander.)

Right now, the distance between the two worlds is shrinking at a rate of 22,000 mph, or about 25 miles per sentence, NASA figures.

By late September, Mars will be one of the brighter objects in the night sky. The closest approach will occur in December, when Mars will be brighter than every star in the sky.

You might have heard that Mars will outshine our moon on Aug. 27. Not true. That rumor is rooted in an annual email that has come to be known as the Mars Hoax, one of the many enduring, mistaken ideas about the red planet.

Each August, various versions of the email land in inboxes all around the world. The hoax can be traced back to a 2003 event, when Mars and Earth were closer than they’d been in thousands of years. (At the risk of further fueling the rumor, here is an account of the 2003 event.) But the proximity was an incremental improvement, in terms of viewing Mars, compared to the vast distance that always separates the two worlds. Never can Mars even approach the brightness of the moon in our sky.

Instead, Mars will remain, as always, no more than a point of light to the naked eye. It’ll grow steadily brighter through this autumn. And in modest backyard telescopes later this year, the red planet will be revealed as a ruddy disk, and sharp-eyed observers might spot some detail.

Mars currently rises around 3 a.m. local time in the eastern sky.

It Never Rains, But It Pours

Actually, I could make this statement about the monsoon weather in Phoenix during the last 2 weeks, but after my snide next door neighbor made a comment to my daughter at how awful my trees and rosebushes looked, that froze in the snow this last winter and then some of them burned to death this summer. I took the tree thing with a grain of salt, since my trees in the front yard that froze have re-bloomed, but I was a little irritated over the 3 trees between our properties. They actually belong to her, however, I’m sure I am at fault for this, because somewhere on my ass I am sure I have a tattoo that says so, but she had her block fence put up prior to me moving into my house, but illegally took a foot of my property and 3 feet of her other next door neighbors property, because she wanted a bigger backyard. She decided this year to have a fence put up around her front yard. Both of her next door neighbors insisted she have the property line marked. Her trees, between our property were in the way of her new fence so she had the fence put on her property losing a foot of her property in the front, but, leaving me to take care of her trees. Two of her trees died when they froze this last winter and she told my daughter I needed to have them cut down. This comes from a middled aged woman whose roof ended up in my yard, that I had to clean up, by the way, with the last major torrential rain that flooded my neighborhood. When her father passed away a few years ago he left her a million dollars, but she wouldn’t replace her roof, even though she was mad that her bed was soaked and her living room and kitchen had a multitude of pans catching dripping water from her ceiling. I was thinking that maybe it’s just me that thought she was stupid.

After listening to a multitude of people tell me about their personal drama over the last week, I wanted to smack them all when I got home from work, to find water running onto my driveway out of the wall from my laundry room. My water heater decided it was time to go to water heater Heaven and left me with the mess of the burial, in a 114 degree humid weather. I’m not so sure about everyone else on the planet, but I am really not enjoying this Global Warming thing right now, from snow and freezing temperatures in the winter to intense humid heat in the summer. This is the dry desert, what is up with that? A 114 degrees in June doesn’t even hold a candle to the feeling of 114 degrees in August when you walk outside and feel gills growing on your neck. I am having a hard time breathing water for air right about now.

Oh, and that dead smelly water heater sitting on my back porch, with the rest of the fallen accoutrement’s from my house this summer, well gee, I keep being told it’s going to the city dump, but if they don’t take it soon, by the end of the summer my whole house will be in that pile. Nobody wants to load it and drive it 20 miles away to unload it in the heat. I don’t blame them, I just don’t want to be part of that pile when it’s cool enough to go.

There are 3 consolations to all of this, at least my house is block, my laundry room is 1954 concrete stucco, and my roof doesn’t leak.

Magnetic Energy

  • The magnetic field surrounding the planet Earth is not really something we notice or talk about on a daily basis. It is somewhat amazing how that magnetic energy influences the effect of the stones on this planet, as well as the magnetic attraction we have for other human Souls that cross our path during our lifetime. It can become most complicated in understanding all the dimensions of why, we humans do so many rituals of preparations to magnetize ourselves to attract others or why many Stones on this planet are used for different purposes. Diamonds, pearls, lodestones, greenstones, bluestones ( of Stonehenge and other sandstone monuments on the planet), birthstones, month stones and the list goes on.

This is an interesting quote from writer John Cowie, who was actually explaining Crop Circles in his article:

”In the UK, there are more than nine hundred stone circles. In England, a remarkable straight line has been traced from St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall through Glastonbury and Avebury to Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, while another runs from the north to south from the major Arbor Low stone circle in Derbyshire through Avebury and Stonehenge. Both these lines miss absolute straightness by a few hundred yards at a few points and we should not be surprised that over the centuries some land movement such as the mid-Atlantic rift could account for these particular discrepancies. It also appears that these lines extend through Scotland into the Orkney Islands and south into Brittany (France) at a time when this was one land mass.”

Oddly, the Pyramids on this planet were made mostly from a stone created by humans, somewhat like concrete is made today, but back then the durability of their concrete is much more stable and many times longer lasting than our planet makes today.Their are a whole lot of reasons of why magnetic energy actually controls the thought process of the planet Earth and how we interact with one another. Witches, Warlocks, Shamans, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Christians and a variety of other religions have a Concept of Truth. However, in view of the spiral galaxies, circular planets, spinning storms on these planets as well as our own all created out of the pull of magnetic energy it isn’t surprising that the ancient tribes used this spinning motion to create these energy forces in their time.

For All Mother’s

This is for the mothers who have sat up all night with sick toddlers intheir arms, wiping up barf laced with Oscar Mayer wieners and cherryKool-Aid saying, “It’s okay honey, Mommy’s here.”Who have sat in rocking chairs for hours on end soothing crying babies whocan’t be comforted. This is for all the mothers who show up at work with spit-up in their hairand milk stains on their blouses and diapers in their purse. For all the mothers who run carpools and make cookies and sew Halloweencostumes. And all the mothers who DON’T.This is for the mothers who gave birth to babies they’ll never see. And themothers who took those babies and gave them homes. This is for the mothers whose priceless art collections are hanging on theirrefrigerator doors, and for all the mothers who froze their buns on metalbleachers at football or soccer games instead of watching from the warmthof their cars, so that when their kids asked, “Did you see me, Mom?” theycould say, “Of course, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world,” and meanit. This is for all the mothers who yell at their kids in the grocery store andswat them in despair when they stomp their feet and scream for ice creambefore dinner. And for all the mothers who count to ten instead, but realizehow child abuse happens. This is for all the mothers who sat down with their children and explainedall about making babies. And for all the (grand) mothers who wanted to, butjust couldn’t find the words. This is for all the mothers who go hungry, so their children can eat. Forall the mothers who read “Goodnight, Moon” twice a night for a year. Andthen read it again. “Just one more time.”This is for all the mothers who taught their children to tie their shoelacesbefore they started school. A nod for all the mothers who opted for Velcroinstead. This is for all the mothers who teach their sons to cookand their daughters to sink a jump shot. This is for every mother whose head turns automatically when a little voicecalls “Mom?” in a crowd, even though they know their own offspring are athome — or even away at college. This is for all the mothers who sent their kids to school with stomach achesassuring them they’d be just FINE once they got there, only to get callsfrom the school nurse an hour later asking them to please pick them up.Right away. This is for mothers whose children have gone astray, who can’t find thewords to reach them. This is for all the step-mothers who raised another woman’s child orchildren, and gave their time, attention, and love… sometimes totallyunappreciated! For all the mothers who bite their lips until they bleed when their14-year-olds dye their hair green. For all the mothers of the victims of recent school shootings, and themothers of those who did the shooting. For the mothers of the survivors, and the mothers who sat in front of theirTVs in horror, hugging their child who just came home from school, safely. This is for all the mothers who taught their children to be peaceful, andnow pray they come home safely from a war. What makes a good Mother anyway? Is it patience? Compassion? Broad hips? The ability to nurse a baby, cookdinner, and sew a button on a shirt, all at the same time? Or is it in herheart? Is it the ache you feel when you watch your son or daughter disappear downthe street, walking to school alone for the very first time? The jolt that takes you from sleep to dread, from bed to crib at 2 A.M. toput your hand on the back of a sleeping baby? The panic, years later, thatcomes again at 2 A.M. when you just want to hear their key in the door andknow they are safe again in your home?Or the need to flee from wherever you are and hug your child when you hearnews of a fire, a car accident, a child dying? The emotions of motherhood are universal and so our thoughts are for youngmothers stumbling through diaper changes and sleep deprivation…And maturemothers learning to let go.For working mothers and stay-at-home mothers.Single mothers and married mothers.Mothers with money, mothers without. This is for you all.For all of us.Hang in there. In the end we can only do the best we can.Tell them every day that we love them. And pray.”Home is what catches you when you fall – and we all fall.”HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!(FYI, I did not write this, but please share it with all the mother’s you know, as that is what the writer intended.)

Another Shocking Day in America

Once again the United of States of America has come under attack, but this time it wasn’t the Middle East. Sadly, it was one of our own acting in a depraved act of violence. A gunman who has taken out 33 lives to date and injuring many others at Virginia Tech University.

Saving the Children just doesn’t seem to take precedence over global warming these days, as my mail carriers are being forced to walk to deliver mail because of the gas pollution the Government attributes to Global warming. Almost unbelievable as the summer months approach and the temperatures rise to the 110 to a 118 mark in the desert.

Neglect, abusive parents, and the Internet seem to be the major problem with parents that are not concerned over their children’s welfare and behavior, who seem to have better things to do than being concerned about what their children are doing, that just want to consider them adults, because it’s easy.

Both of my teens, watching the news story at Virginia Tech, told me that some of the Middle School kids, they go to school with, have commented on how easy it is to buy illegal drugs and guns off the Internet. Some of them are arrogant enough to admit they bought guns and their parents don’t know. The majority of the kids in Middle School, go to High School. If I was that stupid I would have laughed it off, but my next door neighbors sister has a 17 year old son who gets his pot, by the pound, off the Internet and unfortunately his parents supply his alcohol habit and think it’s funny their son does what he does. The sad part is they are extremely wealthy thur inheritance and both parents are alcoholics. What’s happening in this Country? Maybe major STRESS?

However, my late ex-husband and children’s father, who became psychotic after his addiction to alcohol and drugs, admitted after his last arrest for possessing a hand gun he bought easily through the Internet, to use to kill his kids and me and then commit suicide. He told my brother about this, who moved in with me over this deep fear he had. My ex’s motive for buying the gun, was to kill me, then my children, then himself, so nobody would be held responsible. My brother was horrified, but tried to protect me without letting me know. (my ex’s admission came during a 2 year period of being clean and sober and AA made him make amends to me, but my brother had already warned me prior to that). Not a very comforting conversation, when your life and your children’s life have been put on the line by someone who tried to the end to kill those he thought the most of in his life.

BTW, for those who haven’t read my posts on bi-polar disorder and save the children, my ex-husband commited suicide by hanging himself. This has forced me into being very strict with my children, whether they like it or not.

In honor and memory of those College students that innocently died today, my heart goes out to their families. This entire drama has affected my own teens, who are thinking about just staying at home and doing online High School and College.

Guess what America, when that becomes the norm for our society there will be no need of money spent to build Colleges and no need of Government loans, High Schools or even Elementary schools, eventually, which leads to no need of human inter-action between males and females.

Hmmmm! Single people pay higher taxes. Seems to me that this is all about money, which is pretty sad for the most Powerful Nation in the World. Wake up, Only Love is Real, and the U.S. Government has just become plain greedy.

As for me, I am a Republican, but I am voting for all of them to be removed from office. What has happened to the UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA?

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin are all rolling over in their graves right now, however, I am still a Mom dealing with everyday issues all by myself.

Leader of the Pack

In 1964 the Shangri-Las released a song, with this title, about young love, parental disapproval and death by a Harley Davidson. I was around 9 years old when that song was released, but my oldest brother, with his hot rod cars and motorcycle became a big part of my thought process when I decided to write this post. It wasn’t just my brother. In the last several days there has been a herd of Harley Riders going down my street everyday. Very unusual for my neighborhood.

Of course, I was taught to pay attention to everything going on around me, because there “might be a meaning to what you are seeing and hearing”. The thought of my ex-boyfriend, also crossed my mind, who drove a pick-up truck, but never hesitated to drag me to every Harley shop in this State. He ended up showing extreme and verbally abusive control issues, which ended our relationship 2 months after it started, (mostly centered around my daughter), however, it took me over a year to get him out of my life and away from me. I thought he would never quit stalking me. He went so far as to take a job at a store in the same business complex where I was teaching.

Unbeknown to Lucky7 Star at the time, my ex boyfriend was actually intimidated enough by Lucky’s thought process to leave me alone in the end. He even tried to manipulate my family against me. I ended up leaving that job, but my ex boyfriend, drove down my street not less than 6 times a day and tried to hang out with my neighbors so he could spy on me. (My neighbors finally ran him out of the neighborhood.)

Fortunately, this post has nothing to do with motorcycles. It does, however, have to do with my Dogs.

I have a 2 and a 1/2 year old Ridgeback. She is long legged, completely gold and looks like a deer. Her birthday is August 13th. She is extremely lovable.

Last year I was asked if I would rescue a 8 week old puppy, who was going to be to down, just because there are more dogs than dog owners. I already have a houseful of animals, but couldn’t fathom letting such a young dog be put to sleep. The Puppy is a Chow Chow. Oddly, both of my dogs have the same birth date. Fire Leo’s.

My older dog took him in as her own baby. She plays with him, coddles him and reprimands his behavior, but completely loves him. My next door neighbor’s niece brought over her new white Lab puppy her parents paid $3000.00 for, but both of my dogs accepted her and played with her, they are used to other dogs visiting. My, almost 8 month old puppy, was more her size and they are both still babies.

Control Issues??? Yes! My Ridgeback was completely ticked off that she was in my son’s room, with the door closed and my puppy was socializing with the puppy visiting from next door, who has been over many times. After the 8 week old puppy left, my puppy attacked my older dog, to the point that my son tried to stop it and was bit by my Ridgeback in the process. I was in my bedroom, heard the attack and came out, only to raise my voice at both dogs. They stopped immediately. I found out the next day that I was “The Leader of the Pack”. Suddenly, it dawned on me how to keep both of my dogs under control, which has kept them from attacking my cats every time they moved.

It’s funny, both of my brothers, called me at the same time, from 2 different parts of the country, to tell me the Dog Whisperer was on the National Geographic Channel. I spent the good part of an hour searching for the National Geographic Channel, (I don’t watch T.V.), only to find out that I am the Leader of the Pack, without the Testosterone and Harley’s.

Pay attention to what is going on around you. You just might figure out what you are not seeing right in front of you.

Expounding Exercise

It never ceases to amaze me that so many people accept all of these problems that they view as the most dramatic problems on the planet Earth. I, on the other hand, was walking along minding my own business, when all of a sudden the wind blew yet another dramatic attachment that stuck to my back side.

Being a double, red haired, green eyed Celtic woman Fire sign, with a little Earth in me, to take the death penalty edge off of the statement “OMG! I am going to have to kill you over your actions”. I have come to terms, in my middle age, that none of it is really all that important to even care, well until today anyway, when my blood pressure went into another Galaxy.

If Arizona didn’t have such a bad reputation of having the worse educational system in the Country, I might have just chilled out over the whole incidence with my children being in public school and the most asinine garbage I’ve heard and experienced over stupid teachers, not to mention the almighty report that my daughter had to do for her Social Studies class, with a teacher who swears at the students in class, tells them he hates children and his girlfriend is a successful lawyer he will never marry, but he makes more money teaching than she does.

That’s interesting, since I have taught for 32 years and my neighbor, who is an immigrate paralegal for the State, that makes 5 times what I have ever made teaching. I’m not jealous or upset over it, as everyone has their own goals to reach in their life. My neighbor and his wife were prisoners of war in their country and separated for over a year in prison camps. I didn’t come here to live their life for them, that was their job in their lifetime to deal with their situation.

However, when you, in one breath, tell My child how impressed you are over their report and 5 minutes later call them a liar over their family history on Aviation and have them verbally test your child to see if they are lying. I, as a mother, have a major problem with the education system in this State. When notable corrections were made in red by me, after reading my daughters rough draft, then to find out that your child is accused of those corrections being links to websites because they are in red. There is defiantly something wrong, especially when you put My child through the 3rd degree about her family history and call her a liar in front of the whole class, claiming plagiarism because you have read all of her information on Internet Web-Pages. (The teacher wasn’t even close)

I truly tried to maintain a distant approach of not going ballistic over a teacher for his total stupidity. However, my straight A son, who is a year ahead of his sister, has the same teacher and told me he is an idiot and should never be allowed to teach in the Universe, let alone Junior High. I was so agitated over this teachers comments about my family history, which has been taught to me my whole life, that I called my mother, that I try to avoid at all costs.

I have been reprimanded my whole life, by my mother, for expounding my opinion over issues I disagree with, but……………my mother was so mad over this whole incident that she pulled a newspaper article out that was almost older than me, which was all about her father and his contribution to Aviation History in Arizona.

Talk about an Expounding Exercise that I get accused of always doing! My quietly controlling, pushy mother was so mad that she told me to have the teacher call her because he was stepping on our Family History and she certainly took it personally.

I WAS JUST WALKING ALONG MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN…………

I hate when that happens;)

Clairaugust

I have had several people I know in the psychic community, ask me if I know and can explain the term clairaugust, as they cannot find a meaning, but have heard that it exists. I am not a psychic dictionary, however, I do know the term and it’s meaning. My Great-Grandfather and old school “Celtic Lord” is responsible for that information.

Clairsentience, Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Claircognizance are the popular 4 Clairs that most psychics and a few seekers wanting to know more, experience at certain points in their life. What this boils down too in layman terms, you have, sensing, (physically by tasting, mentally by accepting, psychically by knowing), seeing, (visions or precognitive dreams), hearing, (from spirits, guides, angels), knowing abilities, (from information you receive from spirits, guides and angels), that others are too afraid to use or accept. There are 5 different senses and logically there has to be 5 different “Clear” uses of those senses. The 5th sense of the human body is smell, called “Clairaugust”.

BTW, the word Claire (with a second word attached is dropped to Clair) which is the old Celtic French word for Clear. Today the French word for Clear is Espace libre.

The next time you smell something that isn’t there, keep in mind, that someone or something from the spirit world is trying to get your attention for a purpose.

These are just minimal examples, but angels smell like a faint scent of roses, those you truly loved in your life who have passed and come back to you in spirit, smell as you remembered them when they were alive, past life smells come in all forms that usually give you a vision and sense, you just can’t quite place or thoroughly see. You are attracted to people who made you happy in another life, but bring in distention in your present life, that you can’t understand.

Clairaugust is the extra sensory to “smell” things that aren’t always in sight. We may not understand why we smell certain things that aren’t there, but again, it comes from, spirits, guides, angels and loved ones that have passed, that you just can’t see because you are not utilizing all of your “Clear” abilities.

If your in a relationship, what really attracts you to that person? Chances are, it’s their smell.

Lexigrams

My ancient past must be catching up with me. It took me a few days to realize who C.J. was, who left a comment on my last post on Vortex healing. How the heck he came across me after all these years can only be explained by Vortex Energy. Dang!!

I wrote a paper for an Ancient History class, in college, 33 years ago that talked about the Codes Of Life. I used lexigrams as an example in deciphering codes written by Royal Courts, who sent messengers to other, lower rulers, to let them know what the Higher King (or Ruler) wanted them to know about their decisions in running that Country against invaders. It was mostly based off of Less Brittany (now France) and Greater Britain (England, Wales and Scotland.)

In that time frame, English was not used as a common language. So to answer CJ’s question, lexigrams can be used in any language to achieve a purpose, even with primates called apes, who are smart enough to get their thoughts across on computers, to those handling them. If my dogs, cats, bird, guinea pig and fish had the ability to type, they would have their own language code to decipher their life and thoughts. Lexigrams are an Unique ability to be observed by those handling an important situation from the animal and human world.

However, when I clean the fish tank, those fish bump my arm to let me know they appreciate me feeding them, cleaning up after them and they perform their silly antics in the tank while I am standing there looking at them. My daughter’s guinea pig talks his talk when I go into her room and he waits to be petted, talked to and loved, because he loves to be coddled , held and petted. My female bird screams at the dogs, cats and anything she hears outside, since her male partner died, but she is docile when I put my hand into her cage, as if it has a calming affect on her. As for the snooty cats, they have no problem cuddling, rubbing, talking their talk and being slobs just to get food, a brushing and loving attention.

It’s the humans that can’t look beyond the everyday scenario of their life to find and see things that go beyond the “normal” path of existence.

Are we that bored as humans to make life so boring, we can’t see the forest for the trees?

The Codes of the Bible you might seek, will find you, but on the other hand, every letter of the alphabet is in the English version of the Bible. It would be an assumption that you and your life is not included in the English alphabet.

Deciphering lexigrams is done by taking a word and making new words out of the letters of that word. Peoples names can be re-written by the letters in their name to make new words and as you put the puzzle of your name together you just might be surprised what you will find out about the course of your life. I will give you a small example. I can spell my married last name out of letters from my first name. My entire maiden name, first, middle and last, reveals that my husband would die, which he did.

Don’t take any of this to heart and become obsessed with it, because you are unique and have a life path to complete, for good or bad, depending on your acceptance of what you have been offered in this life. You have been given free will to make necessary changes in your life.

Love and Light

Vortex Healing

In being raised my whole life with the statement of, “You are only given what you need, the rest is up to you.” I have come to learn in all my years that what you need has absolutely nothing to do with anything material. There is a code to your life and realizing that you are responsible for deciphering that code to move you on to total spiritual happiness within yourself where everything in your life falls into place without effort, including anything material.

I was born into my family for the lessons they taught me. What you are freely given as a child, whether it was a wash tub to bathe in because the cesspool backed up, an herb or plant from the garden when you skinned your knee or a hand full of flour and a sprinkle of water to make pie crust, you will find as an adult, situations will arise and you will need to utilize information that you came here with and what you have been taught through your life.

I was taught as a child, by my Great Grandfather and Celtic Lord, Vortex Healing. Although, when I was a child we called it in the Breton language, translated to English, because none of you speak Breton, “Spinning Wheels of Light.”  It kind of goes back to that Wheels within Wheels concept through the Universe, spinning clockwise or counter-clockwise, which can be positive or negative, depending on your attitude or frame of mind.  Vortex Healing originated over 5000 years ago through the Merlin Lineage. It is a process of moving energy in a spinning motion, (like a whirlpool, tornado or hurricane), into an injury, illness, disease or life issue, even if it is karmic based, and healing it. The Chinese brought to light spinning energy fields in the body called Chakras and as the Psychic Age of Aquarius was ushered in, so the ancient healing practices came with the New Age of Enlightenment.

My first experience of using Vortex Healing for something major was when I was 12 years old and compressed a disc in my neck during P.E. in school. My Great Grandparents had passed on and my Grandmother utilized the Vortex Healing with Angels that eliminated my pain. It wasn’t until I was an adult I found, after studying color effects in your life, that using different colors in the spinning energy had different healing effects. As little as 2 years ago in using this healing method when I became ill I questioned this pleasant smell I always got, but couldn’t quite place it. Out of the blue a Psychic friend of mine asked me if it was a slight scent of roses. That was the smell and the smell of Angels around me.

All of this comes, with the coincidence of age, that my 12 year old daughter suffering her first major accident when she fell on News Years Day and broke the her tibia and fibula bones in half, in her lower leg. She had to have major surgery and rods put into her leg. She received her first major lesson on using Vortex Healing with Angels. It isn’t hard to accomplish and within minutes my daughters pain subsided and a warm feeling came into her leg. She is now utilizing this healing every time she has to move her leg. It has also helped her to pinpoint a focus, which has caused her ADHD to subside. She has been given what she needs, at the moment, for her life issues.

As for that washtub from my childhood, it certainly has come in handy getting my daughter bathed and hair shampooed with a cast on her leg. And that plant from the garden would the Aloe plant that has diminished many sunburns in the desert and soothed the nerves in her skin around her cast. As for that flour and water mix, when my daughter is well and walking on her own I have promised to show her the fine art of mixing flour and water to make her favorite food called pasta.

Remember the things you learned growing up, whether good or bad, as they will help you decipher your own codes of your life.

The Holiday Season

This isn’t something Dr. Phil would condone, but then again Dr. Phil isn’t an only parent and the “mother” of teenagers. Most of the time my teens act like heathens, (not that they were raised that way), but…., they really only annoy me when they start fighting with each other and I’m working, or on the phone or they have left 1000’s of dishes for me to do, after they have continually eaten all day. Unless fists start to fly between the 2 of them, I just don’t want to be in the middle of their arguments, (which have no meaning to begin with.) Sometimes I have to threaten them with being knock into another dimension. Usually it’s my daughter that gets in trouble because she never lets up until I charge into the room with a 5 gallon wooden paint paddle and threaten her with a foster home. Not that I would ever hit either one of them with the paddle, (maybe I should) nor send her to a foster home, (and she knows it), but it does make a point. I have, however, hit it on the wall before, which has gotten their attention. They both know when they have pushed me too far when I am reprimanding them in a language that is not English and always one of them interrupts me to ask me what a word I said 3 minutes prior means. I’m sure that is a ploy to throw me off track.

Both of my teens have been working very hard the last 3 months to make money for the Holiday, as they claim. The Holiday in my house is celebrated with the arrival of the Winter Solstice, on December 22nd when Nature becomes dormant to rest, and Santa Claus become active to give with his heart out of love and kindness. Yes Travis, we put up a tree, but it represents the life that continues to live in the harshest elements. Although, my kids don’t get that part yet, living in the desert. Harsh weather to them is dust storms, dry lightening and thunder, sometimes turning into thunderstorms, with flooding rain, in the summer months.

My son told his sister that “Mom” would buy presents from him to give to her. (Hmmmm) To bad he didn’t tell me that, because his heart would part of his anal retentive brain right now. I’m not sure about your teens, but my Taurus the Bull daughter was irate over her selfish, self centered brother’s attitude when she ask him for money to get me a present for the Holiday and he refused claiming his money was for college.

My kids aren’t suffering, because they aren’t the ones listening to themselves fight with each other. Being the outrageous and off the wall mother that I am, in defense of living alone with teenagers, revenge is mine in the end, over any self righteous and self centered attitude from any child I have. It just doesn’t cut it with me, in my house. I spent the better part of the day utilizing TAPE. For every 1 gift I got my selfish son, I got my daughter 2. For every gift I wrapped for my son, I used a half a roll of tape, just to agitate him when he tried to open those gifts. My kids open their gifts on Christmas Eve from family, but Santa Claus always leaves a major gift on Christmas morning. The only ones receiving a gift that morning with any meaning will be my daughter and me. My son wanted a new pair of shoes from some special sports company. He wears a size 14 shoe and I was NOT going to spend that kind of money on shoes, especially, the way he has acted lately. (Selfish hormones) So, I bought my daughter and me shoes that will be opened by us Christmas morning that Santa left and my son gets a bag of m&m’s, just because he agitated me with his attitude. BTW, my son thinks there really isn’t a Santa Claus, he just hasn’t gotten a clue how Santa can affect his life. I think he might have gotten some clue tonight after my 16 year old cat fell (my cat has arthritis in his back from getting rolled by a car when he was 2 that broke his lower back.) My cat fell off the computer table and got his claws caught in my computer chair. My dogs ran to his rescue, which terrified him more. I yelled for help from both of my kids to get the dogs, but the child cleaning her room, listening to music and the furthest away came, but my son claimed he heard nothing, 20 feet away from me and no noise going on in his room. Can you say anal retentive, without a sense of helping, even his own mother in need, but expecting everything from her. NOT in my house. He probably won’t speak to me for the next week, but I did let him have it in no uncertain terms. Sorry, but he pissed me off.

Through the midst of all of this nonsense with my teens, I have had 2 proposal of marriage. Bet you guys don’t want to marry me now knowing what I deal with on a daily basis. Will I ever admit there is no modern day Santa Claus to my children, NO! Without Faith in something greater than you really understand, you have and get nothing at all;) Your Higher Power works for you in ways you can comprehend, if you take the time to pay attention to what you are doing and what is going on in your life.

Before any one of you leaves feedback about true Christian teachings and what an awful mother I am, keep in mind, my Grandmother, who was raised in the Celtic Spiritualism, became a Christian Ordained Minister when I was 17 years old. I’ve lived in both worlds and have chosen the first, regardless of your Christian beliefs. What works for one doesn’t necessarily work for all and teenagers will always be the same until they become adults and have to face life for themselves.

The PS3 Manifestation vs 911

With the release of Japan’s Sony and the almighty awaited new PlayStation 3, with blue ray, on November 17th and only 200,000 to be sold in the U.S. until the next shipment in December, has caused a lot of controversy, not only with Sony, but with the way this Country has acted over a piece of electronic equipment. Those distributors and sellers, who actually bought the PS3 for the wholesale price from Sony at around $500.00 and actually obtained the PS3’s to sell, jacked up the prices so far beyond the retail price that the average American couldn’t even afford to put it on their credit card, if anyone took a credit card, let alone pay cash. Stupid Average Working Class American’s shooting and killing others who had an electrical box called a PS3. Jeez, it couldn’t be our Government’s stupidity. After all our Government claims that the Middle East attacked us on 911, yet proven evidence shows otherwise.

I probably wouldn’t even bring this up if my grandfather and father had not been pioneering pilots in this Country. Although, my grandfather had passed before 911, my father had not. His very first comment after watching 2 planes fly through the Twins Towers and watching those Towers crumble to the ground, was “I don’t give a sh*t how much gasoline was in those planes. Where those planes went through those towers, it would Not have brought them both to the ground. Those towers were imploded from with in at the bottom and in the lower floors. It was a U.S. Government act looking for a reason to go to war in the Middle East over their almighty control on the Oil.”

Seems to me as a parent of teens that the Oil in the Middle East and the Blue Ray of Asia have a controlling factor over our American Society and how we interact with each other. I’m not sure about you, but I can almost bet that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln are just about to roll over in their graves causing a major earthquake on the East Coast.

Manifesting that PS3 could have been taught to you by my 14 year old son. He wanted it so bad on the release date and was willing to use his savings account to get it, he actually got one for not more than the original price it will be sold for when it hits the stores full force next March. Not all Americans are rip off artists, but I am not so sure our U.S Government isn’t one of the biggest rip off artists on the planet and your kids are dying in a war that never should have happened over oil. Guess we seem to not have anymore intelligent people in this Country who cannot come up with a better plan for energy than oil and nuclear devastation. Where is the New Age Albert Einstein when you need him?

Maybe the U.S. Government needs to quit worrying about who the next President of Stupidity and Governemt will be and worry that this Country will still be here under control of honest Americans, wanting freedom from the control of the rest of the World. There seems to be a line drawn in the sand at this point, to Stand or Fall. I am kind of wondering which side of the line most Americans are standing on here as I don’t see anyone with enough guts to take on the challenge of a Country where they were born and raised. Are all of you that lazy that you just can’t get involved with how your tomorrow works out?

I would be willing to bet that if the Beer companies and Sports leagues got involved there would be a hell of a lot of participation from the citizens in this country.

Bi-Polar Disorder for the Last Time

I have had so many people wanting to know about “bi-polar disorder”, which is a polite way of saying manic-depression, that I decided to share what I dealt with, briefly to say the least. The disease should not be classified as a disorder, as it is a mental illness disease, inherited through genes and set off in adulthood. Not a lot was known about it for years, but as it has progressed through society and more studies have been done, as too many people who inherit this disease are rapidly becoming citizen’s of mental institutions and prisons.

Many parents do not ever want to admit that there is something wrong with their child. They see their behavior as obnoxious and punish them accordingly, but they certainly don’t understand the bigger picture.

A person who inherits this disease can lead a normal life for the most part, as long as they stay away from drugs, alcohol and anything that alters brain perception. The downfall of these people is addiction. Normally, as a child they are a little hyper and do things they shouldn’t or have been told that it’s wrong, but as they enter their teens and hormone changes they become depressed and seek something to make them feel better. Many teens turn to alcohol because they can get it from an older sibling or parent who doesn’t think to much about the effect it will have on their teen.

With the presents of available, illegal drugs, such as meth-amphetamines, more people are using that drug because it’s cheap, available and alters brain perception to make them feel better and more powerful over themselves. The problem with those born with this disease don’t really understand that the drugs and or alcohol abuse may not affect them mentally and physically until they are in their 30’s. It does eventually become apparent to those dealing with that person that something has changed within them and they are acting differently by lying, cheating, stealing, becoming distant and abusive and above all paranoid to normal things going on around them that they blew out of proportion and have fed themselves with unreal situations that really weren’t happening.

Personally, I have had several people in my life who were diagnosed as being bi-polar and a few who are bi-polar that just won’t admit there is something wrong with them. Of course, there is medication for this disease, if they take it, which many just don’t. The extreme of manic-depression leads those to obsess with suicide and or killing others because they have become paranoid and or schizophrenic.

After dealing with my ex-husband’s extreme bi-polar disease that eventually brought him to suicide it really hasn’t been that hard to recognize it in other people I deal with on a daily basis.

The sad part of all of this is my ex’s parents denied there was ever anything wrong in their family, yet his aunt died in a State Hospital from the the same disease. My ex-mother-in-law would never talk about any of it and hid all the facts from her children, because she was embarrassed over her husbands sister who had this disease. My ex-father-in-law Never talks about his past because he doesn’t want to deal with it or resolve it.

What goes around comes around because my ex-mother-in- law was the one who found her son hanging from the ceiling in her garage when she came home from work.

Don’t be stupid and deny the problems in your family history. Deal with it, accept it and help those who just can’t help themselves. Giving from your heart and helping others in need will make you a stronger and more loving person on this planet and it just may save your children from having to deal with ultimate drama that they shouldn’t have in their life. They deserve better. You brought them into this world, it’s your job to take care of them, regardless of the circumstances going on around you.

The Incident

With a long 3 day weekend for my kids from school, I would, after two days, liked to have put myself into a home of silence. For the last 48 hours, my teens have fought, screamed at each other, ignored me, continued to fight with each other and eat, demand and eat and ignored me further, as they screamed at each other more. Being an only parent, with no back up, I finally had enough rumbling noise from both of them, that I could have classified it all as an earthquake. I decided, that the only way get their attention was to act as childish as they were acting. They went to their room’s and closed their doors. Ahhh! A moment of silence with a few minutes to collect my thoughts.

I grew up in my neighborhood and the street I live on is mainly people and friends that attended school with me. For the most part, it is a safe neighborhood. Non eventful in the way of crime. My cousin is the head of the police department’s 911 dispatch and after the horrors of my mentally ill ex-husband, if my street comes up to officer’s in the area they are on my street within 2 minutes. Although my ex is gone from this planet, my cousin still knows I am alone with two kids.

I just happened to have the lights off in the living room and the front door was open, although I have a security screen that was locked. In my calm moment of silence I walked up to the security screen, that you can’t see through if there is no light on behind the screen and I was basking in the silence. All of a sudden I saw a truck come down the street. It suddenly slowed to a crawl and shut of it’s lights, but was driving on the wrong side of the street when it came to a dead stop. The door opened and the dingledorf male inside never thought to turn out his inside light, so I saw the man who got out of the truck. He didn’t appear to have anyone else in his truck. The next thing I heard was the smashing of a car window that belonged to my neighbor’s son across the street, who had parked his car on the street, instead of in the driveway.

My immediate re-action was to whistle with my fingers really loud and yell at him. The man got back into his truck and sped away. I went over and told my neighbors what happened and my true pain in the butt, daughter, went with me , as she didn’t want me to go alone.

The people across the street from me are refugees from Bosnia. They were put in prison camps when their world collapsed and their grandparents and parents were separated for over a year. Their son, who was very young at the time, stayed in a prison camp with his father. Imagine, as a women having your child ripped away from you for over year, not knowing whether he or she was dead or alive.

I thought of my American selfishness over my own kids fighting with each other. Your kids will always be your kids. We are so spoiled in this Country to ever think anything bad could happen to the common person, we lose sight of what is going on around us.

What is this World coming too? If you turn a blind eye on what is happening on your own street and the people you live with in a community, then you are no better than the terrorist’s trying to take control of this planet. The sad part of all of this is our own U.S. police department. I gave them a description of all that I saw out in the street, but the very same man, in the very same truck went down the street with the police right in front of them, and the very same man glared at me in defiance over his victory, over not being caught. The police did nothing when I brought it to their attention.

Don’t think you are safe in your own neighborhood, even if you think you live in a safe community. Pay attention to everything and what is going on around you.

A Dog And Cat’s Judgement

The next time you think your dog or cat are just stupid animals that you constantly feed, water, clean up after and pay some attention too when they demand it or it suits you, think again. In 1983 I lived alone in a house I owned. I had an Australian Sheppard dog, who had epilepsy and a black tortoise shell, Persian cat, who was 16 years old. I had this feeling I was being watched by someone, but couldn’t prove it. One night I was awakened by my cat rubbing in my face and pawing me. It was totally out of character for her. I pushed her aside and went back to sleep. The next thing I knew was my dog was dancing around my bed and whining. I thought she had to go outside, but as soon as I got up, she laid down. Seconds later I was confronted by a man who had broken into my house. My dog was too ill to response physically with her disease, but never left my side, nor did my cat every leave my bed. I survived unscathed as I had 3 years of Ti Kwon Do training and the intruder left worse for wear. He turned out to a professional cat burglar/rapist the police had been looking for, for over a year and they actually got his fingerprints from my house for the first time. He was eventually caught and arrested, but it left me with terrifying nightmares and the oddest, but most Spiritual experience I had ever had.

I never forgot what my dog and cat sensed that night. Twenty-three years later I never thought I would encounter that kind of unusual animal behavior again. Several days ago I had a man contact me claiming he was looking for someone who had more knowledge than he did on Spiritualism as opposed to Religion. I never found out how he got my e-mail address, phone number or home address, but he was very convincing over his thoughts and values, claiming he was seeking more guidance on Spiritualism as opposed to Religion and his claim that he just came across me on the Internet. I was very uneasy about his initial contact with me even though he was pleasant and appeared to be seeking answers to his life. He seemed honest, but there was something I knew I was missing about all of this.

When he just showed up at my house and wanted to talk to me, I was rather annoyed, since I have 2 kids to protect, who didn’t expect any of this and the 3rd of November was my son’s birthday. I sat out in the cold on the front porch listening to him. He was very in tune with the psychic world and oddly worked for the State on putting the mentally insane into a long term facility to help them. He was appalled that not one government agency had offered his phone number in the years I dealt with the courts over my ex-husband’s extreme mental illness. He gave me a State number to call to verify he actually work for the State. I called it, in front of him and it was real and true to what he said, as it was a number to the State that I had called before looking for help. It was a State Agency that verified that he was the main person who helped put away the mentally insane, who had a record of being insane. He was a very pleasant man, full of information and annoyed over what I had to deal with, as he wasn’t aware the agency he worked for was not accessible to the public by the courts or police department.

It was getting really cold outside and I wanted to go inside. I politely asked him to leave, but he wanted to come inside to warm up before he left. I blew it off. I didn’t want him in my house. There was just something about him that bothered me, but I couldn’t quite place it. I went inside to use the bathroom, but heard my 2 year old Ridgeback dog barking in a mean tone. (Ridgeback’s are extremely protective when they don’t like someone in their space) When I came out, this man was sitting in my livingroom and my Dog was agitated over it. She wouldn’t stop.

This man kept telling me he understood dogs, but it didn’t appear my dog understood him. I sat down, not wanting a major conflict with this man in front of my kids. My daughter’s cat jumped into my lap and wouldn’t leave me alone or stop meowing at me. She finally laid down in my lap, glared at this man and flipped her tail back and forth in an agitated manner. She never left my lap the entire time this man was in my house and my dog never stopped growling or barking at him. It panicked my daughter, who refused to leave to room, even when he asked her too. She might be ADHD, but she is very psychic and was uncomfortable at the thought of leaving me alone with this man. She was smart enough to use the term “ADHA” to her advantage. Between the dog and cat and my daughter, this man left on his own accord and told me he realized that my house didn’t want him there.

My thought was “Well Duh!” Listen to your animals. They always sense more than you listen too, pay attention too or accept.

Halloween

v12.jpg Halloween has always been celebrated in my family as a Celtic Holiday. Even when I lived in Great Britain everyone got the day off work as it is a Holiday. It wasn’t until I had children and they started attending elementary school that I realized that Halloween was a big problem with several different religions who wanted the subject ban from the public schools. My son came home from First Grade crying because other children were calling him a Devil Worshiper. I’m not sure about your kids, but my 6 year old son had no clue what a Devil Worshiper was, all he knew is the kids were being mean to him because he celebrated Halloween in a Family Tradition. I was appalled. I called the teacher the next day. She had wanted to have a Halloween party, but too many parents complained to the School Board that it was a day of Devil Worship and it had to be canceled. Now I was mad.

I ended up writing a letter to the School Board explaining the true meaning of Halloween. My son’s teacher wanted to sign the letter with a comment of her approval that Halloween should be allowed in the public schools as a History lesson. By the time I got the letter back, every teacher including the Vice Principal and Principal had signed it. The School Board approved it and I was asked to come in and tell the story of Halloween to the First Graders and their parents under the guise of a Family Heritage Day. All parents who attended were asked to share their family heritage with their children. (I did not include the religious aspect of Halloween to the parents and kept it on a first grade level for the kids, but I am including it in this blog)

This is the story of Halloween as taught to me by my Great Grandfather and Celtic Lord. Keep in mind I am translating to the best English words for descriptive purposes, as my Great Grandfather spoke a mix of the Celtic Languages when he talked about the “Old Land”, of Great Britain and Ireland.

‘The story of why we honor and respect Halloween and other Celtic holidays goes back 1000’s of years through our Family bloodline. Times change and people change their view of life and how it should be lived. Those believing they are great rise to great heights, but they will always fall and eventually have to pay the price for their wrong actions on others. Our People (the Celt’s), saw the Earth and Universe as part of a musical rhythm in space and time. We spent hundreds of years marking the planets in the sky and building “towers” to view them better, marking seasonal changes of the Earth, and developing defenses to protect our people from those tribes that wanted control of our land and our life. We were and will always remain docile people, at least until we are provoked by someone else’s hate, greed or jealousy. On this day, when you honor Halloween you are honoring Samhain. It is the Gaelic word for the month of November and on the first day, it is the beginning of the Celtic New Year. As now, we celebrate New Years on the Eve of New Years Day that comes the first of January, but there is more to the celebration of October 31st than most people understand today. The Christians of the Roman Catholics observe it as All Saints Day to honor their Saints. Other religions have called it All Hallows Eve to honor the “Sacred Eve” in the Bible, (as hallow means sacred), but to Our People the Eve of anything means the Goddess of All things reproduced and soon to be brought forth for our existence on this planet, as only a female can reproduce. It is only in this “Age” of all things ending that men have taken control and women are considered weak. It will change when the “New Age” arrives.

In the past, All Hallows Eve, was changed to Halloween, but still people don’t understand why. It’s true meaning comes from the Celts, as Hallow means sacred, but een means eye. It was the Gift of Sight (sacred sight) given to all people, but many ignore it, don’t understand it, are afraid of it or allow themselves to choose the Wrong Path in their decisions because they refuse the Sight out of fear.

Halloween is celebrated on the last day of October because it is also the last day of Harvesting Food to store during the winter months in the Old Land. People piled their food into barns. Their town may have spread across miles of land, but there was always a Center to their town. At the end of the day of Harvest, the people gathered to the Center and all brought food and drink to have a celebration. During their celebration of the end of Harvest, thieves would raid the barns full of food while no one was home. Our Family (meaning the Celtic people in general) decided to scare the thieves by carving pumpkins with scary faces and making ghosts and goblins out of things they had, then leaving them around their homes and barns. Most of the other people (non Celt’s) were afraid of being attacked by scary things they didn’t understand and Our Family knew what would scare them. It worked for awhile, but the thieves realized they weren’t real and continued to raid the Harvest. So, during their celebration of Harvest the Celt’s continued to make scary faces and hang ghostly creatures around their land, but dressed their children up in scary costumes to scare away the thieves by making ghastly noises in the dark. The children were missing the Harvest celebration with all the food, sweet fruits and honey Our Family Harvested. Many children ran between homes, some miles apart, to help protect neighbors who didn’t have children, so the neighbors would give those children food and sweet fruit, like apples, cherries, plums and sloes, that had been dipped into honey, and left them a barrel of cider to drink from, to repay them for protecting their food for the winter.

When the Quakers came to this country to live so did many thieves, but harvesting continued, so the Quakers could eat, with the help of the Indians that already lived here. The same principal of All Hallows Eve was used in this country that was used in the Old Land, to help protect the food through the winter and kept the thieves away. All Hallows Eve became Hallows Eve and eventually Halloween. Times changed and the celebration of Community Harvest ended, but the Spirit of Harvest will never end in the minds of the true Celtic children who look forward to running from home to home for sweets. Without the children we wouldn’t be here at all.’

After I presented my story of Heritage, not one parent had a problem with Halloween as they looked at it as a Heritage they really never understood or were given the wrong information about growing up.

The following year, however, when my daughter entered the first grade, the very same problem arose around Halloween, but this time with a new Principal, who was convinced it was a day of Devil Worship and wanted it ban from the school. I had no choice, I complained to the Governor of the State and submitted my Great Grandfather’s story. Educators, including Principals and the School Boards in public schools were not allowed to impose a ban on Halloween, as it fell under the Freedom of Religion, since the Christian and Jewish Holidays were acknowledged by teachers and children in public schools, so could any other religious Holiday on the calendar be acknowledged. Negative language and the term “Devil Worshipping” had to be omitted from all School officials and not allowed by children in the classroom.

Although, my children are beyond elementary school learning, it doesn’t mean that adults are beyond learning things that they are ignorant too. Not everything may be as it seems, as Halloween, in no way worships the devil. Don’t be afraid to seek out alternative information and judge for yourself whether it is possible or even probable in this time. After all, Pluto WAS a planet. For those of you that don’t understand why it’s not anymore, it does not rotate on it’s own axis like the rest of the planets, but does rotate around the Sun’s gravitational pull. Smile, your life is about to get more complicated and confusing in the “New Age”.

Professional Ethics

This is totally off the subject of just about everything I have written, but it has come to mind that just maybe it needs to be brought to the conscious light.

As humans we deal with different classes of people everyday. Some may not have as much education as others nor as much money, but these are material planes on this planet. How you act and react to the performance of others comes from inside your emotional subconscious.

We are a society of communities, companies and industries and have to inter-act with different types of people all the time. You may not like or love everybody you encounter, but you have to learn to accept them as they are as unique as you. However, there comes a time that, regardless of how av-ant guard you are, professional ethics might be something you definitely need to learn and utilize in your dealings with others.

For any one human to be so arrogant, flamboyant and outrageous in a professional environment that deals with the general public of all ages and walks of life has emotional issues of attention and acceptance.

I have worked as a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor for 26 years. It is an industry that can be outrageous and flamboyant, as it is a profession of creativity, but it does definitely have a written and UN-written code of professional ethics.

It is standard practice among the professionals who perform for the public or are judging the performance to wear preferably solid black or solid white. There is a reason for this. It is to take the eyes of those watching you, off of you personally and bring their eyes to the attention of what is created on the model. Models are usually draped in black, gray or dark maroon to take the eyes of the viewer to the models head. Stylist’s are selling their art work to the general public.

I attended a hair show last night in a professional manner. Everyone was dressed according to the part or role they were to have at the show. Suddenly, a casually late arrival slings open the door and gracefully breezes into the building, verbally and breathlessly drawing attention to themself. Decked out in full make-up and flowing hair in a silky floor length red dress with red pumps and spilling over the top of their low cut dress. I’m sure that sounds very sexy to all you men out there.

I had brought my 12 year old Zoldorian daughter with me, who just had to make her way to the front of the building to see who had just walked into the room. It wasn’t 30 seconds that she was back to announce to the entire hair show (Zoldorians are loud people) that the person that just came in had on a long red dress and you could see their black thong thru the material. I still haven’t perfected that melting into the floor and becoming invisible when she does that to me in public. I casually walked away from her to make my way around the building into another room only to find myself confronting the backside of the long red dress. Someone they were talking with pointed out that I was standing behind them and they slowly turned around. I was looking at a face I have encounter professionally before. As my eyes went from their face down the red dress it wasn’t hard to notice that their male package was bulging from their black thong through the red dress. By that time my Zoldorian was standing next to me. All I could do was just turn to her and say “that is just so wrong.”

I am open and honest with my children so I wasn’t worried about my daughter’s reaction. However, many older people, as well as children, should not have to be subjected to someone else’s outrageous extreme for attention.

No one is denying that the Gay community exists. There are many reasons ranging from population control to creative artistic expresssion of souls. After all, Socrates and Plato were gay and extremely inspiring in their thoughts and writings. Learning to accept people for who they are is one thing, but it does not have to include accepting inappropriate behavior, from any race, religion, sexuality or human. The Tower of Babel has fallen. The Ethics line needs to be drawn.

Back to School Shopping

Have you ever noticed this time of year, whether you are a parent or not, that you cannot go into a department store without hundreds of children with germs buying back to school clothes?

This year was one of those adventures in Back to School shopping. In reflecting back on my day, I think the department store felt sorry for me in the end.

I just wanted to get in and out without spending a fortune. When your son has the feet and body of Sasquatch you wait for that 50% off sale, which just happened to be today. It would have been a quick and pleasant trip if my elderly mother hadn’t called complaining she was bored and wanting me to do something with her. Department store shopping wasn’t in my first fifty choices of things to do with my mother, who is blind in one eye, has no sense of balance in large spaces, is always hitting me in the shins with her cane and constantly complaining and repeating herself, but she insisted and bribed me with Starbucks.

Later she tells me that she didn’t want my brother to take her to buy underwear. So, I was easily bribed and put my Zoldorian daughter in charge of her, while I stayed in the men’s department with my son to make sure he stayed in the sales clothes. It wasn’t long before I was pulled away by my daughter and my mother who were looking for me for advice on women’s underwear. I suggested to both of them to ask a clerk. I found out that Zoldorians and their elderly grandmother’s don’t ask clerks for advice on underwear. Again, I was bribed by my mother, who insisted on paying for my kids school clothes if I helped her with her underwear issues.

In my absence from the men’s department, I eventually found my son standing around the check out waiting for a credit card to appear for his school clothes purchases and new backpack he was holding. Well, of course, one child gets a new backpack, both children have to have a new backpack. My bossy mother pushes her way to the checkout line and slings her under clothes all over the counter, demands they are put in a separate bag and directs her grandchildren to set everything up on the counter, so this man can check it out. There was a mountain of clothes that I couldn’t tell what belonged to whom.

Suddenly, I was confused. My mother couldn’t ask a female clerk about underwear, but she could forcefully tell a man to put her underwear in a separate bag. There was so much stuff on the counter the checkout clerk was sweating and not understanding whose underwear belonged to whom. The clerk looked at me for some type of re-assurance he was doing it right, but am sure all he saw on my face was a dazed look. I didn’t even have anything on the counter. My mother started repeating we were going to have to make several trips to the car, over and over. I finally told her to shut-up, as I handed bags and more bags to my children to carry out. When the check-out clerk told her it was $500.00 she said nothing, but I gave my son “The Look” and he knew he was going to get it when we got home. The checkout clerk gave my mother $90.00 in gift cards and she was so excited she told me I needed to bring her back to the store tomorrow so she could buy more things. I pretended I didn’t hear her say anything.

My mother clutched her bag of underwear as if that was all she had left in life and grabbed my arm to hold onto as we ventured to the door, with her cane hitting my shin bone all the way down the aisle. She just had to make the remark that I was much more stable to hold onto than my daughter, but I told her if she was going to fall I would land on top of her because she was clutching the arm I had dislocated and had no strength in, which she didn’t seem to care that she was hurting me as long as she felt stable. When we got to the door to leave the beeping sound of theft rang out through the whole store. My mother wanted me to stop because she thought she might get arrested and I just kept pulling her along to the car, listening to her complain all the way. Nobody from the store cared to even venture in my direction. I was done taking my mother shopping. I hope she never needs underwear again in her lifetime.

The Last Days of Summer

I never thought I would be so happy to see this summer wind down from the heat wave that reached up to 120 degrees, along with high humidity and isolation in a house all closed up with Einstein Trump and the Zoldorian, not to mention the rats, the fish, the cats, the bird and the large dog.

My alien children received their school schedules today and the relief of knowing my grocery bill will drop by $100.00 a week was almost exciting, not because they won’t be home eating everything in sight, but because I will get to peacefully and quietly grocery shop alone.

Einstein Trump has made his plans of spending the next 5 years working hard on getting a College Scholarship, while the Zoldorian will spend the next 6 years seeing what kind of new disease she can manufacture to get out of going to school.

There are pros and cons to the 3 month summer break. The pros are 2 million people leave this city in the summer and you can actually drive down the road without utilizing your scud missiles on the side of your vehicle. The cons are your children destroying your environment and eating you out of house and home.

I almost welcome the snowbirds this year, but I really wish they would get a clue that driving 15 miles per hour under the speed limit, side by side, is not acceptable in rush hour traffic. A little advice, don’t leave your condo before 10:00 a.m. and be off the streets by 3:00 p.m. Otherwise, enjoy your stay, as the Desert Rats love having you visit but, we are the only ones left when you go home that you actually didn’t kill ;)

Entreperneur

My 13 year old son has always claimed he will be rich someday. Of course, being an only parent, I wish it was sooner than later. He does have a million ideas for his extreme wealth and for a teenager who lacks the developed common sense skills of everyday life, he does possess the retentive logic of his mother.

As much as I have trouble understanding all the technicalities of electronics, he has taken extreme care, to obtain the equipment and knowledge of the equipment. He also takes good care of his electronic equipment. As new electronic equipment comes about, the old is put aside and stored very carefully, “just in case”.

Stupid Mom just had to ask “Just in case of what?” Okay, so I have a bad habit of looking at something unused for so long that one day I will pick it up and put it in the dumpster. Of course, my son keeps his bedroom spotless, just because I might walk in there and spot something I feel the need to throw away. I really do try to not venture into my kids bedrooms, until I can’t find any silverware to eat with or an odor I can’t identify from the hallway, usually by my daughter’s bedroom. However, if I see my daughter in the same clothes for more than 2 days I will get the garden rake and excavate her room, with gloves and a mask.
The “Just in case of what” came when my teenage son discovered E-Bay. Suddenly, he has more money than I do. So now, I demand gas money, shipping charges and payment for boxes. Next week I am adding my chauffeur time to his bill. This is all because the Playstation 3 is coming out at the end of the year.

When my son is rich, I will be submitting a bill to him for the massive food debt, the Bigfoot shoewear, and the mens clothes I have to supply for the 6′1, size 14 shoe, skinny CHILD with a teenage attitude.

True Love

True Love comes from a commitment from partners, without question of principal, ethics, trust or deviating from the path of a relationship for any reason. A friend of mine sent me a story the other day that truly reminded me of my parents, who were married for 56 years before my father passed away. My Grandparents for 62 years, when my Grandfather passed and my Great Grandparents for 60 years, when my Great Grandfather passed.

In short, the story went, ‘An elderly man had cut his finger a few days before. Needing to have his stitches removed he rushed into the doctors office early that morning without an appointment and in a hurry. There were no doctors available at that time, but the woman at the desk asked the nurse to see this man and ask him if he would wait for a doctor. The nurse took the elderly man into a room and discussed his stitches and why he was in such a hurry and couldn’t wait for a doctor. The elderly man told the nurse that his wife was in a nursing home and he had to be there before she woke up that morning. The nurse left for a few minutes to consult with one of the doctors and was given permission to remove the stitches. As the nurse was taking out the elderly man’s stitches, she asked him if his wife would be upset if he was few minutes late. The elderly man replied that, “his wife did not know who he was as she had not recognized him in over 5 years. She was a victim of Alzheimer’s Disease”. The nurse astounded asked, “And you still go every morning and she doesn’t even know who you are?” The elderly man smiled and patted the nurses hand and said “She doesn’t know me, but I still know who she is.” ‘

This Kaylee, is True Love. True Love is unconditional, regardless of the circumstances. To have it in your life you must have undying FAITH that it will be your life, but to make it work, both partners have to accept that it is what they truly want. There really can be no question about lusting after others or things in your mind, if you are looking for TRUE COMMITTED LOVE.

The Universe

The other night my next door neighbor’s 8 year old niece, Nikki, wanted to come over and look through my telescope at the moon. I got it out, set it up and got her a chair to stand on so she could see the moon up close. She thought that was coolest thing she had ever seen. I located Mars and Venus and she got to look at them too. I told her to come back over when it was winter so she could see Saturn and all of it’s rings. She was just amazed. I sat down in a chair in the backyard and when Nikki and my daughter, were done scoping out the sky they brought chairs over by me and sat down chattering all about the stars in the sky and all the planets that would probably be around those stars. There is almost a 5 year age difference between the two girls, but they both contemplated and chattered on about the Universe as if they were scientists on the verge of a discovery.

Something crossed my mind, while they were talking, and I became lost in my thoughts of when I was a child. My Great Grandfather taught me all about the planets and the Universe and the reasons for Nature on Earth. Then I remembered when I was 8 and in the third grade we had to do a class project in science. My third grade teacher always partnered a boy with a girl when we did these projects. We always had more boys in class than girls and I think my teacher thought girls were stupid when it came to science.

I was partnered with a chubby boy named Peter, who wanted me do all the glue work on our project because his fingers were to fat to hold small objects and glue them together. Peter and I got into a loud verbal argument when I told him Elmer’s glue does not hold Styrofoam together. I also told him we just needed to put Styrofoam in the bottom of the box and use toothpicks to hold the Sun and planets up, since they were also Styrofoam. The teacher broke up the argument, but agreed with me. The project went on and Peter became so anal retentive at the age of 8, over painting the round balls of styrofoam with temper paint to the exact color of the planets. I took the planets away from him and gave him the box to paint dark blue and told him to paint white stars in the background. As he sat there and dotted billions of white stars with his chubby fat fingers and his double chin breathing heavily through his congested nose, I thought he looked and sounded more like Godzilla.

Suddenly, I was pulled away from this childhood memory, when Nikki tapped me on the arm and asked me where I thought all the stars came from. In my sarcastic and snappy comeback tone I told her that the Christians believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth and the Celts believed only a woman could create such awesome beauty, but……. I was sure it was a kid named Peter that I was in third grade with who was sitting above this Universe breathing heavily with his chubby fingers and stuffed up nose, dotting in stars with temper paint.

Nikki hangs out at my house too much, because at 8, she has those sarcastic and snappy comebacks wired. She just laughed, cause she knows me too well, and said to my daughter “Peter was probably a dinosaur in another life, but with all the dust storms we have I hope he blows his nose before he starts sneezing and it drips on this planet cause that would be just gross.” I fell out of my chair laughing. She had no way of knowing that I ever thought he reminded me of Godzilla. Peter probably works for NASA now.

If you ever want to know what is going on in this Universe, just ask an 8 year old doing a science project on the planets.

Common Sense

It has been brought to my attention, over the summer months, that parents of teenagers fail to realize that their teenager has little to no common sense. Somewhere between childhood, when you are trying to teach your child right from wrong and the hormones of teens, common sense is completely lost.

They don’t even have to be bad teens. My teenage son is a straight A student and received a Presidential Award of Honors for his intelligence, but everyday common sense evades him, unless he was taught it at school. Schools and Government are pushing so much on academics, mostly science, that what is missing, is teaching these teens plain ole common sense. My daughter is not stupid, she is un to herself and her world evolves around her, but her common sense stops at safety. Sounds odd? Well, I had to go to the school and have a tantrum over fire safety and awareness over adults stalking children. I had to take time off of work to do that. It should be automatic with the school systems to teach all forms of practical judgement. The school got the fire department and police department involved and they were more than happy to do it. Now it’s routine in this district and across the State.

Yet, several years ago, a 16 year old boy took his father’s gun, when his parents weren’t home and went out in his backyard and fired it in the air because he thought it would be cool. Several houses down a 15 year old girl had just walked out into her backyard and the bullet struck her in the head and killed her. It almost took an act of God (which credit was given to the news media for pushing it) to teach gun saftey in all the schools.

What is common sense? It’s sound practical judgement. Society has pushed, economically, both parents, (if there is even two) into working, which takes away any parent from teaching these skills to their children at home. Of course, teenagers don’t always listen to their parents either.

If you really think about it, government wants these kids to be scientists and doctors. The scary part is, with all the New Age technology, just who is going to teach them good judgement on how to use it? It sure isn’t going to be the school system and with every parent working, well, just think about where this world is headed with our New Age Teens. It isn’t even my own teens I am concerned about. I work with 60 teenagers everyday and some of things they do are just amazingly stupid.

I have also had to experience the lack of common sense in the medical profession with doctors and their high medical bills, who really don’t care that they are killing their patients, as long as they get paid. Think about that the next time you are not getting anywhere with your doctor and find a new one.

I feel for Jim and Sharon and their plight with their twin, 16 year old boys. (from the last post) As for myself, being a double Aries Nuclear Fire Bomb and only parent, my children know that I would go out and get a pretty frame to put around them after I put them into the concrete wall for destroying anything. In other words, they know their limit and how much I will take. That doesn’t mean that they have the common sense to pick up their trash that falls into the floor, take the garbage out when it is over flowing, put their dirty dishes in the dishwasher or clean up after their animals, when it is really necessary. The best one is leaving the front door wide open when the air conditioning is on and it’s 112 outside. Duh! They just wait for me to come home from work to get mad because it gives them a reason to have an attitude. They are slowly learning though. Just so you know, the only attitude that flys in MY house is mine and occassionally my hand up the side of their head. If my teens ever wanted to call CPS on me I would be right there handing them the phone and looking up the number.

Parents need to understand that discipline and child abuse are two different things, whether it is physical or verbal abuse. Abused children become abusive parents and cycle continues.

Being an only parent, without backup, is harder than you can realize, but learning to control your own internal power and directing it in a healthy way to take the burden off of you and place it on those causing the burden. Parents, too, need to learn to use common sense with their children. If you have allowed your children to do what they want because your tired of talking to them, if you let them walk all over you and make demands that you give into, you are going to have a hard time changing this pattern until you change your pattern.

Thanks For Sharing

I am back and no worse for wear. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong when Mercury goes retro, but we would need Master Astrologer, Lucky7Star, to explain it. Thank you Lucky for taking up some of the slack with computer talk that completely evades me. The only thing that excites me with my computer is: 1. it’s working and 2. my paper clip that chats with me when I write in Microsoft Word. Bet Linux doesn’t have a paper clip that guides, directs, informs and puts on glasses to review what you wrote and makes you feel like he is your at home editor.

I also want to thank my computer friend Mark and my son, Dakota, (the dual Scorpios) for all their help and trying to keep me centered when I lost the book I have been working on because my other system prevented the files from copying. I’ve gotten over it and I just have to re-write 1/2 a book again. Maybe I’ll complete it this time. It is my fault for not backing up my work because I didn’t know how to do it, but I am computer stupid and I was married to a computer programmer for over 10 years. See how that works? (and yes my son was mad that I never asked him how to do it.)

I have learned a valuable lesson on organizing priorites and kids, family, friends and a job don’t always come first, because the most important person in your life is you. When you allow others and things to take your energy your thoughts become scattered and focusing on what truly needs to be accomplished becomes difficult. Take Back Your Power, set your priorities and learn to say “NO, but thanks for sharing”.

Love and Light

Mid-Summer

It has been been a while since my last post and for those who have sent e-mails inquiring as to what’s up, my mother is very ill and my kids are in summer sports and I am the chauffeur.

However, today is the Summer Solstice, which is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. It is known and celebrated, mainly in Europe and by today’s New Age pagans. There is always a major celebration at Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plains in England. If you have never been to a celebration at Stonehenge during a Solstice it would amaze you from a spiritual point of view. Although, the spiritulists that attend the ceremonies, to give thanks to the Universe and the Earth are out numbered these days by the party-goers, which has caused clashes in the Circles of Stone.

The first beginnings of Stonehenge can be classified as being built somewhere around 3000 B.C. and ending around 1600 B.C. There is evidence that sometime in late 300 A.D. to the early 400’s A.D., that Stones which had fallen, had been re-raised to their original postion. Stonehenge is most commonly referred to by experts as being an ancient astronomical calander. There are other’s, however, who believe the Stones were raised to worship the Sun.

Regardless, of the reasons the Stones were raised, Stonehenge is truly a visible source of our ancient culture on this planet and everyone should respect the Earth and the Universe as part of our travels through time.

Changes

Have you ever noticed the pattern your life takes on, in different areas? Sometimes we don’t see things coming at us or we don’t understand why some things come upon us and when confronted with different scenario’s we get our feelings hurt, because we thought we were doing what was expected, but other people thought differently.

I, on the other hand, could care less what you think. Not that I don’t think your opinion is important, but when the logical value of your opinion is missing and your communication skills are vague, misleading, or controlling, then I find that you are at fault and I didn’t really do anything wrong other than being confused over why you are that way when you didn’t check to see if I was that way.

I still get confused over why I am the only one to supply the home bathroom with toilet paper, but for some reason, when I use the bathroom, all the toilet paper has been used and I have to drip dry before putting more rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. Logically thinking, the last one to use the last piece of toilet paper should replenish it, but why I have to be awakened in the middle of the night, by a teenage child needing toilet paper, because there isn’t any in there, just evades me. I can’t recall doing that as a teenager.

Then there is work. 3 months after starting this teaching job, I was helping a tall male student. I couldn’t see what he was doing wrong standing, so I sat down to get a better perspective. This other teacher came up to me and told me I was not allowed to ever sit. I looked at her like she was an alien from another Universe. I have been doing this for almost 30 years, (she had been doing this for less than a year) so……when did the rules change? I don’t really intimidate easily, I just get irritated with controlling stupidity. I sat anyway and she was irritated. Oh well! I pointed this out to the owner the following week and this teacher was put in her place, but she didn’t talk to me or like me for the next 12 months. However, other teachers came and went and this teacher hated them all, (on the other hand, my logical opinion of those teachers was they were incompetent at their job, so I could see her view point) This teacher, teaches the new students their basics, which isn’t always correct with what the State wants, but I just retrained them when they got to my level of teaching.

I had patience enough to finally see Divine Justice take over. As much as I intimidated this teacher, without trying, she had 30 new 17 year old students start a week ago. She was so over-whelmed, she asked the owner if I could come into to her basics class and help her. (There are 5 other teacher’s in the school, hmmm) I agreed and she wanted me to actually teach her class today, but this teacher asked me a thousand questions and admitted she learned a lot and wanted me back in her class to teach tomorrow.

Sometimes things are not always as they appear. Patience, knowledge, and perseverance will prevail in the end, so don’t get discouraged when people put you off, as I have found, it is not really you, but the fear of others accepting you, because they are afraid you know more than they do and they just don’t want to accept that they should be supplying toilet paper in the bathroom instead of you.

Life is full of daily CHANGES, constantly moving around, but how much endurance and time you have to spend on patience, waiting for your time, depends on you and those you are dealing with everyday. You can walk away anytime, but do you want too?

Take heart Katie, Doug and Josh, you will prevail in your job and your love life. Oddly, all three of you e-mailed me almost the same exact question at the same time.

Love and Light and hang in there, it will happen!

Commotion

Life is always full of commotion. It seems that just when things start to settle down from the major drama, little things come along that agitate you more than the major things. People who have been a part of your life for so long and honestly care about suddenly disappear. When you ask them why, they make excuses, instead of telling you the truth.

Your doctor, who knows he is giving you medication you are allergic to, won’t even responded to your phone calls. Short of letting yourself die at the hands of the medical profession, you have to find a new doctor who really doesn’t want you to die.

You apply for medical insurance and three different people from the same company call you. One harasses you, the second one signs you up for a policy you don’t want and didn’t apply for, but sends you information on deducting the premium from your checking account that you never gave them the number too, and the third one gives you the technical information you need and tells you to call him back when you decide what policy is right for you and he is the only one in the company that covers your State.

While you contemplate all of these things happening on your long drive to work, some truck, without flaps over the back tires, slings a rock into your windshield on the freeway and you have to play phone tag for days with the Auto Glass and Insurance Company, hoping you don’t get a ticket for a break in your car window that is longer than a dollar bill.

Then there is work. You work with an employee who started 8 weeks ago. After her first 2 days of work she doesn’t show up or call the next day. Five days go by and she finally calls to say her daughter was in a car accident and is in an entire body cast. Two weeks go by and she calls to say she will be into work the following morning. We don’t hear from her again for 3 weeks. She calls and says she will definitely be there the next day. She shows up the following week. Works for 3 days and suddenly has to leave early because her daughter is graduating from college in another city, but assures us she will be back the next day because, in her exact words, “It isn’t like I am going to go out drinking with my family, because I don’t drink.”

I am now thinking that there is something wrong with this scenario. This employee claimed her daughter was in a major car accident and in an entire body cast, which meant if her daughter was actually in College she wouldn’t be able to finish the semester in a body cast, even if the College allowed her to complete her studies at home. She would have missed the entire 2nd half of the semester and would not be able to do home work. Then suddenly this employee is going to her daughter’s graduation. I don’t know about your State, but I went to a University here and no one was allowed to graduate until they completed the entire program. You didn’t get to take 6 to 8 weeks off and then graduate, regardless of the circumstances.

This woman, of course, didn’t show up for work the next day. Not surprising. The school I work for is Tuesday through Saturday, but they have night school on Monday, which just happened to fall on payday. This teacher did ask me before she left, what time she could get her paycheck on Monday night. She showed up to get her paycheck, but she was drunk and apparently made a spectacle out of herself. No, she didn’t come to work today and didn’t call. Hmmmm!

My boss and I and the other employees admit that we have few drinks during the week, but never enough not to show up for work the next day or for weeks on end. Everyone I work with agreed that we know our limit and throwing up is just not a pleasant experience, so none of us take it that far.
To end my days commotion, we had a major thunder bumper, with strong winds, that poured rain, which never happens this time of year and my best friend had to have her 14 year old black lab put to sleep.

Commotion is things that interfere with our daily routine, not always pleasant to deal with, but necessary, as it is the little things that prepare us for the bigger things we don’t want to think about, but need to deal with when they happen.

Electronics

Heaven knows I was not born in the age of electronics. I grew up watching black and white T.V. in the living room with my family. My first memories of television was in my Great Grandparents house. My Great Grandfather opposed television as it took attention away from things that truly mattered. My Great Grandmother, on the other hand, watched Soap Operas, while she sprinkled the laundry with a coke bottle full of water that had a make shift spout made out of cork and she did all the ironing for the entire family. She also had an obsession for watching wrestling and Friday Night At The Fights. During the hot summer months my cousin and I once talked to each other during “As The World Turns”. We were given each an empty 6 oz bottle of coke and told to go to the “Little Store” and get as much candy as we could buy with a nickel, which came from the deposit off the empty bottles we turned in. My Great Grandfather waited in anticipation for our return, not because anything was going to happen to us, but because he knew we would be so wired on sugar it was great opportunity to have us pick pomegranates and artificial lemons off the hedge (not a tree), in the heat. Being of the foreign Celtic descent we ate a lot of pies, whether is contained meat, vegetables or fruit. To this day I am still mad that I can’t make pie crust from grabbing a handful of flour, throwing it on the counter and sprinkling it with water off my hand. I still don’t know how she did that.

Of course, times change. My father went from being brought up in a City with Al Capone and Baby Face Nelson, to leaving home at 14 and hitching hiking across the Country by himself. He slept in the jails in each state he was in to protect him from anyone harming him. He went to live with his brother in California. My father never went to High School. He met a woman in California and got married and had a son. He was drafted into the Army during WW2. Because of his lack of education, his duty during the war was being a sniper shooter. He killed people he didn’t know and never forgave himself for it. His wife divorced him while he was overseas and he never saw his son again. When he served his time in the military he had no place to go when he was discharged. His oldest sister was married and lived in Phoenix and she told him he could live with her. That’s when he met my mother. My grandparents weren’t to happy that their daughter met and starting dating a divorced man, who didn’t have much education, but boy could my parents jitterbug.

My grandfather was the first pioneer of pilots in Arizona History. He made my father get a G.E.D., which my mother helped him achieve, and put him through flight school. Until my father retired, he was a corporate pilot, mostly for private companies and made really good money. But, I think I would have rather been poor, than to have him gone so much of my life. After he retired, he was in his glory to take care of my children, while their father and I worked. He had such a positive influence on my children that my son, who was 9 years old, sat at his death bed and held his hand when he died.

My childrens father, on the other hand, was a genius when it came to computer’s and programming. I knew nothing about computers or electronics. My first piece of electronic equipment was given to me when I was 10 years old. It was a transistor radio. The funny thing is, I never got rid of that little hand held radio, that I got in 1966. It sat in my dresser drawer, in it’s box, for many years. Sometime in the early 70’s I got a clock radio. By 1980 I puchased a small color t.v. for my bedroom. In 1990 I purchased a stereo system. I still have that stereo system, but recently replaced the power center to it.

Recently, I had to move that stereo system out of it’s cabinet, into an entertainment center that my mother forced me to take because my oldest brother, who moved in with her, didn’t have room for it when he brought in his big screen t.v.

I am so electronically inept that my 13 year old son had to go with me to get a t.v. to fit the cabinet. OMG! I really didn’t know anything about the “new” t.v.’s. It’s hard not to buy an HD t.v. as they are so light weight and thin that one person can carry it. Well, after my son spent all day hooking up the stereo and new t.v. we couldn’t understand why the cable wasn’t working. Not what my children wanted to deal with at the moment. I really am not a t.v. watcher, but my son has a routine when the Phoenix Sun’s Basketball team is in the playoffs. He missed the last 2 games, but oddly, listened to them on my 1966 transistor radio. See how 40 years can still work in this day and time.

When the cable company finally showed up, four days later, it was 112 degrees outside and he had to get into my attic. I was a little concerned over this, as my attic was about 130 degrees. He reassured me he didn’t have to get all the way in the attic, but needed to borrow a ladder. Now I was really worried. My ladder is old and very unstable. The entrance to my attic is under the carport, next to my kitchen. When I heard the kitchen window break, I knew there was a problem. I sent my son outside, as fast as he could go, by the time I got out there I could do nothing but laugh hysterically. All I saw was the cable man running his legs in mid-air hanging out of my attic. My son pulled the ladder out of the window and stabilized it under the cable man, but my son sent me in the house because I couldn’t stop laughing. The sad part was that the problem was the cable 3 way splitter in the living-room. When the cable man realized this, my puppy decided he need to be licked to death to console him.

I was a little miffed over the fact that the cable man called someone to fix my kitchen window and they were there in 15 minutes, on a Sunday afternoon. How does that work on a Sunday? I am stilling waiting for the Auto Glass people to replace my broken windshield that happen last week. I should have had the cable company call the Auto Glass people first.

So where are all of you on electronics? I know I am still in Dark Ages when it comes too electricity, even though I am versed in positive and negative polarity.

Sarcastic and Snappy Comebacks

Katie, let me give you clue to those statements you wish had thought of after the fact. I was raised in a family full of boys. There is only a female born in my family about every 24 years. All the rest are boys. There are 1000’s of boys in my family. I was the youngest of 3 children and yes the two older ones were boys. Something was always blamed on me to take attention off of something they did wrong. My father was military, but not stupid. He knew that when I made a sarcastic remark over the accusations that one of my brothers blamed on me, it was my brothers who were at fault over something else they did. My mother on the other hand, to this day, believes that boys always tell the truth and girls are liars. (probably because she was as a child) It’s kind of funny, but after all these years, when my mother accuses me of something I didn’t do, my brothers always defend me. It’s only because they know I will lay waste to them by my mouth and my Sarcasim and Snappy Comebacks. It has always been my only line of defense in my brain.

You have to practice and utilize each scenario in your mind in order to have a quick comment when someone is blaming you or are giving you grief. Keep in mind that the things in life, that annoy you the most, you have to be prepared in advance with something to say to the person who is agitating you over something that really annoys you. The best time to jot down your thoughts is during pms, as it gives you the most dramatic and evil comebacks to someone who just grates on your nerves.

On the other hand, I am a double Aries, who could careless if I hurt your feelings because you made me mad, hurt my feelings, insulted me or blamed me for something I didn’t do. Being an Aries child I have found that humor in sarcasim and snappy comebacks benefits me more than the venom. (although I have tendency to use venom on occasion) It comes over insecurity of whether I can handle your attitude and the way you are treating me. I was taught to treat everyone with love and respect, but when I am not treated that way in return, I don’t know how to respond with out being honest over the way I feel at that moment. I find that others don’t know how to accept an honest opinion and they in turn walk away without response or say something that just doesn’t fit the whole scenario, or make light out of everything in their life, so they don’t feel bad over their actions.

Take heart, Katie. Just be who you are and if others offend you, make you feel inadequate, or insult your nature, they are the ones who have a problem. Love, respect , and accept all people, regardless, of whether you are given it back. You are teaching them a lesson on humanity.

1-26-2008

I just had to post this, since in the last few weeks I have had so many people read this post all of a sudden.  I am going to give you one Comeback, but you have to say it right, then turn and walk away from your opponent.  This will leave your opponent without time to respond and feeling rather defeated for the moment.    First you must look at them like they are completely stupid, then you must enunciate the word “ISN’T,…(2 second pause) THAT nice”.  Then walk away shaking your head.    They may be mad and respond with a quick and loud “YES IT IS”, don’t give them the benefit of making you mad, just keep walking.  They have no control over a conversation that they are searching for a meaning when there really isn’t one.   My best friend and I always used it on students with great success.    As for my brothers always trying to blame me for something to take attention off of them, well, I was around 9 years old when my father confronted me on something one of my brothers accused me of doing when I didn’t even know what he was talking about.  I looked at my military father (you know daddy’s little girl) with my big green eyes and said “, “It’s not my fault my brothers are liars and retarded I’m not their parent.  He didn’t have a response,  However he did charge down the hall taking his belt off and hitting it against the wall all the way down the hallway. My brothers, who were laughing in their bedroom, weren’t laughing when he hit it against their bedroom door.

A Typical Work Day

I was ask, by a friend of mine, to post a letter I sent to him. He had sent me an e-mail and when I answered it, I found myself expounding over my work day yesterday. He thought it was worth sharing with the rest of the world.

As I have noted before, I teach in a private technical school. I have been a certified and licensed teacher for 31 years and have taught in my profession for 26 years. In all of those years I have spent countless hours in on going education and retraining as progress moves forward and new things are developed. I am explaining this, because out of the seven other teachers I work with, only two of us have an extended educational background. The other five are incompetent fools and very new to the teaching profession, some without much education on educating. Their means of educating is controlling what they have no control over. When you work in an artistically inclined profession you cannot control the creativity of an artist, you can however, threaten them with bodily harm when when they get in your face. Which brings me to yesterday.

I have always had students of all races and backgrounds. Every once in a while I come across a student who pushes my buttons. Yesterday was one of them. This is the letter I sent in part.

‘I got an award at work today, as the best and most favorite instructor, out of the seven that work there. I’m not sure why, as I threatened to throw a gay male student (who dresses like a woman and wants to be referred to as a woman) through the second story window onto the asphalt parking lot below. He was irritated with me because I won’t refer to him as a she or her. I told him he will never know the joys of experiencing pre-menopausal PMS and if he didn’t get his attitude out of my face I was going to show him exactly what it was by throwing him through the window. I did, however, tell him he probably wouldn’t die, as the cars below would break his fall before his as-by-d’phalt hit the ground. He got out of my face. I ended my point by telling him that he was insulting my species of the human race, as there is more to Women than slinging their hair back and swinging their hips, he does not have, to and fro. I was agitated enough at that point that I yelled at the clinic floor instructors for not doing their job and then got on the microphone and yelled at the student population for their lack of sanitation practices and cleaning up their messes. I got applause from all the clients and half the student population. So, I went in and ask my boss to fire me. She gave me an award instead. It was a no lose situation today.’

Summer

For most people in the Northern Hemisphere summer is a time of warm temperatures, getting out doors for camping, fishing, boating and playing in the water. It’s a time families take vacations together to relax, rest and spend quality time with each other. Most school age children have extended time away from Teachers controlling them in the classroom and Principals punishing them for wrong behavior. It’s a time that parents are totally responsible for the actions of their children.

Unfortunately, my children have 3 months off in the summer as opposed to the year round schools who have about 3 weeks off in the summer. I don’t know about you, but I don’t get 3 months off from work during the summer, which means to me, that it would be another 3 months of my cell phone ringing, at work, every 10 to 15 minutes, from 2 teenagers fighting with each other and making a abusing the very house they live in. This means I would have to go outside, down the stairs, into the parking lot, out in the sun, in the desert heat to use my MOM tone on them. The thought of having to get in my car that will be over 200 degrees to come home to kill one of them just doesn’t sit well with me, as I work 16 miles away and losing time at work and wasting gas, at the price it is, just means that they don’t get any junk food all summer, their main staple. Okay, I had to weigh the pros and cons of that thought. Junk food verses gas and loss of pay. hmmm!

Fortunately for my children I would never kill them, I would, however, have no problem putting them into the concrete and block wall for making my blood pressure rise and ticking me off. I could leave them to kill each other, but I would be charged with neglect because I went to work to house them, clothe them, feed them and put braces on their teeth. Summer is a no win situation between the school districts, the law, working parents, and the rug-rats they gave birth too.

I have taken a less stressful approach to summer break this year. I have a really awesome employer, who understands my plight of being the only person in my children’s life that takes full responsibility of raising them. I don’t have family and friends who can physically help me on a regular basis. My oldest brother suffers from progressive MS, but he will take them to school if I just can’t and pick them up from school when they are sick. However, he is not capable of disengaging their opposite attitudes and fights for 3 long, extremely hot months.

I choose to put money aside for me to take a vacation in the fall, away from my kids, house, and animals. Keeping house, working a job and raising kids alone is a 24 hour a day job and single Moms do need a break from routine. My children’s father is deceased and his family doesn’t even communicate with my kids. I do have someone who will sit with them and referee for the short time I am gone. So this year, I have opted to take my vacation money and put my kids into the YMCA for the summer. I chose to put them at one close to my work and if there is any problems I can go get them down the street and bring them back to my work to make them suffer a long boring day in their world. Although, my employer and students will see to it that they are thoroughly entertained and fed. I love my children to death, but I hate their teenage attitudes. If I acted the way kids do today back in the 50’s and 60’s my father would have knocked me into next week. I never gave him a reason to do that, so I never learned how to do that. Although, my oldest brother has been there, but I didn’t want to ask him how it was done.

I just want to say one thing. I have taught in elementary education and now teach in adult education. Teachers, regardless of what age group they are involved with DO NOT get paid enough to put up with some of the $hit they have to contend with. So the next time your community wants to vote for an increase in teachers salaries, let them have it, because they are with YOUR kids most of the day. Stop and think about it.

My Mother’s Day

It could only happen to me, but after feeling so much better this last week, my kids were getting me all energized to celebrate Mother’s Day. I decided to cook for my elderly mother, who eats Lean Cuisines as her staple food. She was so excited she could hardly contain herself, as my oldest brother and his wife live with her and never fix food she likes nor can her system tolerate at her age. She knows she can eat at my house any night of the week, but I can’t always have dinner on the table at her eating hour of 5:00 sharp.

So, yesterday off to the store I went get her favorite foods. Thinking the way I do, as a Mom, in the grocery store I got all the necessities first. You know, dog food, cat food, bird food, rat food, laundry soap, toilet paper…. you know what I mean. Now it’s time to concentrate on all the things I need for dinner for Mother’s Day. I get in the meat department and as I am trying to glance around all the men, looking for something to grill for their wives and moms, I get that dry tickle in my throat and start to cough. I tried to clear my throat, but the second cough took me to my knees when every muscle in my lower back tighten up and the pain was unreal. Some big guy helps me up and asks me if I’m okay. I couldn’t even breath nor could I finish my shopping. I held onto the basket for dear life trying to make it to the front of the store. There’s 40,000 people checking out and I couldn’t even perceive standing 2 minutes let alone 20 for a checker. No matter what, Moms never leave the store without necessities. Like an Angel from Heaven a checker walks up to me and tells me she can help me at the next register that wasn’t open. I got the death look from 20,000 people waiting in line. I didn’t care. I made the grocery packer unload my basket and carry everything out and put it in my car, but I wouldn’t let him push the basket. I have an SUV, that sits high and it took me 5 minutes to get into the seat in agonizing pain. I wasn’t even sure I could drive home. It was awful, but I made it home. When I came into the house I looked like the Hunchback of Notra Dame. I was looking at the ground when I told my son to unload the car. He usually does, but I have never told him bent over and looking at his bedroom floor. My daughter casually comes out of her room smelling the freshness of food in the air and asks me why I am walking like I am 102.

During basketball and baseball season I don’t see to much of my teenage son, until his games of the day are over and I am ready to go to bed. He wants to sit down and talk for 3 hours. I didn’t even want any of the cats looking at me for attention, let alone conversation from a kid. With all of the problems I have had with medication recently I was not taking any for pain. I remembered my grandfathers advice for pain when I was 13. “Whiskey”. So I had a few, which at that point was more than 2. I felt better and went to bed with moist heat. It was an awful night. It took me 10 minutes to get out of bed this morning, with my daughter greeting me in her cheery happy voice with Happy Mother’s Day. She proceeds to tell me that she is making me breakfast, but she doesn’t have any flour for the gravy for the biscuits and hot sausage, she has already cooked and I needed to take her to the store, unconcerned about the pain I was in. I stared at her, said nothing and in my night clothes and house shoes, got my purse and keys and looked at the concrete driveway as I breathlessly got into the car. I slapped money into her hand and waited in the car, knowing full well I had no food for Mother’s Day dinner and my own Mother was coming for dinner that I couldn’t physically cook. (my mother doesn’t cook, by the way)

I ended up having to send my 12 year old daughter back to the store, with my debit card (which was more scary than not). My own mother had to take her, which was even scarier, as she is blind in one eye. My son ended up barbecuing ribs, that my mother wanted and my daughter made the rest of the dinner to the satisfaction of my mother. My mother actually did the dishes and cleaned my kitchen, while I sat with an ice pack on my back.

Okay, I had a physically miserable Mother’s Day, but my children made it all worth while, because without them I wouldn’t be a Mom. My spendthrift daughter actually saved her money and bought me a new Ram necklace. And my son made me cry over a Mother’s Day poem he wrote for a school project that I had to grade so he could take it back to his teacher. Well, of course, I am going to share it with you. I’m a Mom and so proud of how far my kids have come after all they have been through in their short life here.

Mother’s Day Poem

written by my 13 year old son

‘Every time you are there,

I am always feeling great.

I am happy I always have someone to listen to me.

You help me when I need you,

and give me the strength I need,

You help me be more respectful and caring.

Your words are like rain drops that fall upon me.

I can easily understand the importance of things.

And everyday is important.

Everyday is a day to celebrate

Everything you have accomplished.

And everyday you are there,

Is always the best accomplishment.’

There are times you never know what to expect from your kids.  There are great days and not so good days, but there are always days they will surprise you with just how much they love you.

Illegals

I am not a racists person, but I find that too many from other races and countries are. I live in the United States of America. Where do you live? If you are living in the United States, to my knowledge, after 50 years of being born and raised in this Country, when my family came from someplace else, I have adapted and accepted all people legally being here as “Americans”. That is what this Country is all about. Our families are from someplace else, but those born and raised here are from this Country. It is our Country. Those coming here legally are citizens of this Country and consider Americans. Those living here illegally, because you can make more money in this Country, want the rights of all citizens who work and pay taxes, but you don’t pay taxes. You want the State benefits, I don’t get, being a single mother raising 2 children alone. Yet you go to our hospitals for medical assistance that you receive and can’t pay for, but my taxes go up to cover the cost of your medical care. I can’t afford to support you. You want welfare I can’t get, you want jobs that I can’t get. You steal, you harass, you murder, and bring illegal drugs into this Country. You cheat others because you think this Country owes you something for nothing. Your kids get free public education. What documents did you provide to get them in public school? I had to supply plenty of documentation to enroll my kids when I am a citizen of this Country, but you didn’t. You hold marches for your rights, but what about the Rights of those that are legal , who pay taxes to support you. I should not have to work to support you and your family. That’s your job.

I have dual citizenship with Great Britain, but I don’t run over there for free socialized medicine. I am not a user and you come here to use the people of this Country to support you and benefit you and we pay for it in our taxes.

It’s all about what you think you can control and get away with and not pay a price. The key words are control and users. You come here to have your children, so they are citizens, which you assume gives you the right for benefits that those born and raised here can’t get. What the majority of you don’t see as parents, you are raising your children to be just like the governments you left. Get a clue. When you allow your Gangsta children to abuse, harass and harm the other children of this Country, you are no different than the governments you came from and you have changed nothing about your way of life.

You will never take the United States of America down to your level, so maybe it’s time all of you actually took responsibility for your actions, especially, when it comes to raising your children, by being kind and helpful to others instead of abusive, users, troublemakers, and control freaks.
Sorry, I didn’t post this in Spanish or any other language you might speak, and I speak 5 languages, but the main language of this Country is English. If you want to live here, you need to learn it and so do your children. We are NOT the Country you came from and get tired of dealing with your attitude when you are NOT even a citizen of this Country and you raise your children to be just like you.

My children lost their father to suicide last year because of your get quick rich means of bringing methamphetamines into this country illegally. You don’t care who you kill, but my children do.

You hide behind your almighty values of showing up to Church every Sunday and praying for forgiveness of something you know is wrong. Guess what, you are not being forgiven when you walk outside and sell a rock. You really don’t seem to get it and only add fuel to your own fire of your life.

I have issues with abuse in any form and I would fight to the death to see to it you are eliminated from this Country. My opinion is not going to change any time soon.

Beauty and the Beast

I have a karmic value of claustrophobia, which prevents me from going to a movie theater or being in an enclosed structure without windows. I have been working on it, however.

When my children want to see a new movie at the theater, I still can’t go with them, but they will go together, but feel bad I can’t go, so they ordered Netflix to get the movies at home so we could watch them together.

My son made me sit through three hours of the newest movie version of King Kong, tonight. During that whole movie I had flashbacks of my childhood and the Drive In Theater, that my father used to take me too. My first memories of movies, which was at the drive-in, was, “Darby O’Gill and the Little People, King Cong vs Godzilla and the Love Bug.”

Although, I have seen all of the King Kong movies and I don’t know why, except maybe a fascination with fantasy vs reality.

At my age today and after 3 hours of an Ape movie, I realized tonight there was an actual meaning behind King Kong, which came to me watching this movie. How could a male Ape (living on instinct) from the distant past be so absorbed, protective and caring of a human female of today? (INSTINCT BETWEEN THE MALE AND FEMALE???)

If that is the case, how come MEN of the present are so aborsbed in themselves and what they think is possible or impossible, that they can no longer care, protect and love a female counterpart on instinct, with their logic of non involvement and commitment?

Are human males losing their natural instinct of love and companionship????? If that is the case, this entire planet is doomed and the human souls that inhabit it.

BTW, I haven’t been the only human female that had this perspective. Over the time this movie was originally released, I have had 22 women ask me almost this same question.

Guess the women want to hear from the male testosterone creature type humanoids on this one.

So what do you have to say????????????????????

Happy 12th Birthday Blaise on April 26th

It is always a parents responsibility to make sure that their children are honored on their birthday. Without children there would be no parents, no exsistence of humankind, no joy, no happiness, no traditions to be handed down. We wouldn’t be here at all if we didn’t have children.

I am extremely grateful and blessed to have two of the most awesome children. After falling and hitting a concrete floor on my back, as an adult, and later falling down a flight of stairs, I was told by doctors and chiropractors I would never be able to conceive a child. I was devastated. I had always seen myself with two children. A Boy and a Girl. After my marriage, time went on and as I approached my mid to late 30’s I accepted and resolved the fact I would never be a mother. One night, after dinner, I layed down on the couch to watch t.v. My husband, went to the computer to do whatever, but as I laid on the couch I suddenly felt different. It wasn’t really something you could explain in words. As the days passed I knew what that feeling was and the doctors were wrong. After 14 hours of hard labor I delivered a bald headed 10 lb 4 oz, 22 1/2 inches long, baby boy, by c-section with an indentation of my pelvic bone on his forehead, that he has to this day. Because I had surgery with my delivery I was put on birth control pills when I was done nursing my ever so hungry infant and told, at my age, I didn’t need to be pregnant again for at least 24 months. hmmmmm! On the pill I ended up pregnant 9 months later. There was that second child I saw. My daughter.

I am honoring her birthday today because she is special. She carries the same indentation from my pelvic bone on her forehead that her brother does, which is why I will always know they have been marked as my kids, but something happened with her in my delivery. When the doctor took her out of my stomach on delivery, she wouldn’t breath. The delivery nurse stabbed her 78 times in the bottom of her foot with a pin to make her cry so she would breath. I laid on a bed with my stomach wide open, in anticipation of whether my baby was going decide to live or leave. She decided to stay in all of her 6 lbs 14 oz and 18 inches.

When they brought her to my room later, she had massive long silver white curly hair and violet eyes. Every doctor and nurse in the entire hospital came to my room to see her. I really thought it was unusal, as this did not happen with my son. It was one nurse, who came in and told me she had heard of this miracle baby born and she just had to see her and hold her. I asked why she thought my daughter was a miracle baby. She turned and looked at me and told me she was an Indigo child. It would take me all day to explain what she meant, but you can look it up on the internet about Indigo children, that before this day, I had never heard of or perceived.

Today that baby is turning 12. She is unto herself. She is the most outgoing, funny, generous, and sensative kid you could possibly imagine. She still has deep blue/violet eyes and white hair and isn’t afraid of anything or anyone. She was diagnosed, by the school district psychologist, with being ADHD and they wanted me to put her medication because the teachers didn’t know how to handle her. I refused. Not because I don’t think she doesn’t need it, but because she came here, in this life to learn her own lessons about life and medicating her isn’t her answer.

She is 12 years old today and in her 12 years, she constructed sentences before her time because her brother was always to shy to talk to people. When someone asked him a question he always looked at her to answer it. She was always his spokes person when they were little. They are complete opposites, even on the astological scale. He is shy, retried and very retentive. She is outgoing, unafraid, blundering and a complete mess maker, with no less than 10 loads of laundry a week. You can’t help but love her, as she would do anything she could for you, if she doesn’t drive you crazy first.
So HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAISE! I am so happy to have you as my daughter and I LOVE YOU! And whether you realize it now, I have spent 12 years defending your right to be you, but could you tell one thing, what has happened to all the spoons we once had?
