How Many People Live in the United States? It seems to be the question of this New Century. Our own Government won’t give an exact figure because they don’t care to check with the IRS and Social Security.
How many of those citizens are legal? You know, those non citizens, that are collecting benefits from States who just don’t give a rats ass about checking their background.
Lets narrow this down. The amount of illegals living here is roughly 20 to 37 million. Some of these people aren’t paying taxes yet getting food stamps, medical benefits, and their children are allowed to attend public school, in which, many classes are taught in bi-lingual (English-Spanish) languages. This language barrier does create problems for American born children, who speak English, that loose focus on the class while waiting for the illegals to get their class in Spanish. I have 2 children that have put up with this in public school. The Government wants these American Kids to be our future Presidents?
Another question arises. How many French, German, Bosnian, Chinese and a multitude of other nations, who have their children in public schools, in this Country that get their teachings in their languages. Maybe the French Quarter in New Orleans or the Chinese in San Francisco.
The point is, this Country, speaks American English. Not British English, not Spanish or Spanglish, not French or Chinese.
Another problem has now arisen in this Country. The Federal Government wants to pay out 700 billion dollars to bail out the Financial Institutions. 700 BILLION DOLLARS, yet there is roughly 296 million People to 320 million people who live here. Would it not make more sense to give everyone who legally lives here some of that money to spend to stimulate the economy, pay their debt, buy food, get medical insurance, pay for gas and have a home to live in? You know the now low life American Citizens who actually support this Country. Even if they just paid the American Born adults who file taxes half that amount this Country would be better off stimulating our very own Economy than the Jackasses in Washington who allow plenty of Special Interest Money that serves no purpose to the majority of the American People.
AMERICANS, we are the ones paying this BAILOUT. The money in this Country comes out of your pocket. The Government doesn’t doesn’t have money, the Middle Class supports this Country.
How many of you have had their phone lines tapped? I have, because I speak my mind. I always thought, before this incident, that I was entitled to FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Stupid me for not giving my attention to something I took for granted.
WE THE PEOPLE CAN’T SAVE OURSELVES UNTIL WE SAVE OUR GOVERNMENT, which is pretty sad that the Doctrine we now live under has taken away our FREEDOM as citizens.
It’s time to take a stand as Americans, whose benefits, benefit the illegal aliens. I realize this Country is made up of Immigrants, but our families of the past became Citizens through proper Channels. Amnesty of illegal aliens isn’t going to fix the problem. It didn’t in the past and it won’t work now to save the Asses for our very own Government.
Unfortunately, we have now become the questionable laughing stock of the World.
IT’S TIME TO VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE AND BAN LOBBYISTS.

The money made in this Country is made by it’s citizen’s that support the economic growth of this Country. I agree with the Celticprincess and Lucky that “We the People” should be getting this money, not this Government. You can’t trust any of them.
In the early beginnings of this Country, Thomas Jefferson, you know the 3 President of this Country, who was the main author of the Declaration of Independence who favored States Rights over “Federal Rule”, cofounder for the Democratic and Republican Party.
This President wants to bailout this Country at our expense, “We The People” who support this Country, give our lives up for this Government to ruin our lives further by a dumb-ass President that doesn’t care where we end up, so he can go live on his Ranch in Texas and live off his protected money. He should have been impeached and you dumb asses out there voting for McCain and his bubbleheaded, lying, second in command to take his place if he dies. There is definitely something wrong with the gullible misuse of education in this Country.
WOW! I have hard time bringing all these figures the Government is spending to a reality point, when I can’t afford gas, and especially food for my 3 kids when my husband lost his job. Lord knows only the next course of our lives.
I watched the debate and saw McCain as an idiot who only cares about war and not the lives of the People living in this Country.
My suggestion is quit letting the news commentators, who get a pricey paycheck, offering their one sided viewpoint and ask the American People what they think. In fact, let the American People decide, after all, we are the ones paying this Pricey bill WITH POLITICIANS THAT REALLY DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT WE NEED AS AMERICAN CITIZENS.
I, for one would like to buy a weeks worth of food for 5 people that costs less than 250.00 per week. My job and unemployment for my husband just doesn’t cut it.
PUT IT TO A VOTE.
The money handout is not such a far fetch idea. realistically we’re talking about $200,000.00 per person. How about giving that to everyone over 18 in the US, American citizens of coarse, and you have to pay off your bad dept before you can spend it on anything else. This makes that greedy investor who is now upside down on his investments have to use his money to make things right. If he doesn’t have enough, well he gets the loss he deserves. Meanwhile the people who have worked hard and made their payments and struggled to survive without getting in over their heads, gets a winfall. People would be able to spend money and put it back into the economy. Houses would sell due to the winfall. People would buy cars etc and forclosures would decrease causing a demand for more new homes, creating construction jobs again. Let all the CEO’s and major investors, the Fanies and Mac’s take their lumps like they should and the good people will reap the benefits instead of the crooks that screwed it all up to start with.
The bailout isn’t a bad idea if it’s done right and the people of this Country, who support this Country benefit, McCain is wrong to give tax brakes to the extremely wealthy. They are humans in this Country who should also be supporting this Country. McCain just doesn’t want his rich bitch wife and his rich friends bank accounts taxed so they can be comfortable in all of their homes while the Country slowly becomes homeless and starves.
McCain is still mentally suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome from the Vietnam War. You can never have mental peace until you let go of the fear of hatred others instilled in you by the military.
Whoa! This debate, the economy , my paychecks working 2 jobs, my wife working and 2 children to feed, clothe and supply for, it’s just not a realistic view from a man, named McCain who owns a multitude of homes and is married to a woman that get millions of dollars yearly while the middle class suffers.
Something the Celtic Princess said in another post that I have never forgotten. “You don’t always get what you want, only what you need.”
It took me a long time to realize that what I wanted was something I didn’t need. I need food and water for my family, electricity and gas for my home, gas for my car so I can work and support my family. A low mortgage payment.
Maybe the Government just doesn’t understand what we need. I suppose that survival skills should have been re-enforced in school, all I got was duck and cover. Like that is going to do anything.
I’m pissed and it isn’t going to get any better anytime soon.
Sleeping isn’t much of an option these days. I had to move in with my daughter, her husband and children. It wasn’t my option. I loved my home and the friends I had in my neighborhood, but someone else has it now and I live in another State. I miss my life, my friends, my home and my routine.
I am Christian woman, but now I question the values of a President who claims to be a Christian and shows himself as a self serving man that cares about himself, just as the next Republican nominee, John McCain only cares about making sure he and his rich bitch wife don’t have to have their taxes raised.
If McCain wins, the upper to lower middle class lose. What a sorry Country we have then become.

Bush called for the bailout. The House Democrats put it together. Then the House voted it down. The bailout was then revised and went to the Senate, who added to it and it was voted in, in the Senate.
It then went back to Bush who signed it into law.
As for the money to fund this, it comes from the taxpayers, then goes to the Secretary Treasurer, who gives it to the Federal Reserve who then gives it to the failing Banks who filed bankruptcy. All of this is suppose to unfreeze the credit markets so people can borrow money.

When illegal aliens are working and not paying taxes you become the one supporting them, as well as your working family. They are being supported by your tax dollars and American Citizens lose because the cost of living goes up for everyone.
Have you ever had to ask your State for help only to be denied because you had more than 5000 dollars in the bank or a retirement account? I didn’t think so. Have you been to the grocery store lately and seen how much money it cost to feed a family of 4 when you are an only parent.
Better yet, can you afford medical insurance for your family while the illegals get State benefits, free housing, food stamps and your just not quite poor enough to qualify for that almighty free ride from our Government.
I don’t deny any one wanting a better life, but like my family, we came here during the Civil War, fought on both sides and became citizens of this Country, for good or bad, who pay taxes that support the freedom of illegal aliens.
